yeah whatever.
First give us some of those shining, spanking f16s which make Indians pee in their pants whenever they take up the skies
I think Americans officially communicated the outfall of the SMQ visit to US.
If the US wants to engage Pakistan after the Afghanistan withdrawal then it must treat the nation on equal footing, as a sovereign state and also remove all the sanctions they've put on us via third party shenanigans. The Americans need Pakistani help. They are back to square one. They are offering the same candies as they did during Musharraf days when they initially entered Afghanistan. They want free and unhindered access to airspace and ground routes to make their Afghan adventure a face saving success. Obviously, without Pakistan this is impossible.
Let's see what the Pakistanis and especially Bajwa does. We now have an opportunity to open the way to Chinese investment into Afghanistan. The Americans cannot even offer 1% of what China can and will deliver to Pakistan and regional development.
Don't anger papa America. Keep them at an arms length by putting on fake smiles. Give them bare necessary and fully focus on Chinese regional development. Those that are wetting over a few F-16s and helicopters don't have a clue that no matter how sweet the Americans get, they will never ever upset Hindustan.

Yes, Pakistan should be asking for economic goodies, not weapons. Debt amnesty, free trade, step back in economic pressure (FATF and WB rekodiq case), and resumption of PIA direct flight (post pandemic).honestly hoping that pakistan can get waived off or restructure its paris group loans rather then f16s or zulus

Nothing else is palatable to the country anymore.
Their delusions should concern us. Their adversary is our closest geopolitical partner. Telling them to bugger off is not productive. But we need to be clear on our end as to what our demands are if we're to have any meaningful relationship post-withdrawal.Let me already reveal the reality. They are not going to do that. The Americans are stuck. That is the real fact. They have been fighting endlessly in Afghanistan when China developed and progressed like mad. Today the genie is out of the bottle. It is too late for the US to do anything meaningful about China. The Americans are under the illusion that China can be contained if they abandon all of their pet projects and fully focus on their adversary. Won't achieve anything. Nonetheless let the Americans live in their delusions which shouldn't concern us. We need to extract the maximum and we need to focus on our flagship project. China and regional development is our main goal. The US and trade is second. Everything else is distraction.
Block 3 is borrowing tech from J20. These fanboys are living in fools paradise if they think Pakistan can get similar level of tech from American side. Some people simply never learn.

I recall reading somewhere that in the 1980's, Pakistani exporters paid more tariff taxes to USA then French exporters did, even though French economy was much much larger and more developed. USA still had a protectionist textile industry at the time.LOL Some kiddos are still stuck with their F-16s and helicopters. The world has moved on to Mars and 6th gen tech.
Anyhow, we should focus on the sweet spot. We cannot get any weapons from the US. That is just the bare reality. Weapons are reserved for Hindustan. Shouldn't be any concern to us. We can get excellent bang for buck hardware from China. Russia is another potential supplier in the future. We don't have to worry one bit about military tech.
What Pakistan needs from the US and its European allies is trade, trade and more trade. If Pakistan can increase trade concessions we will have punched above our weight.
