US Sec Def to visit Pakistan in March

Another DO MORE visit.

Pakistanis need to call this American bluff, they are not to be trusted.

Pakistan still remains in the grey list and Pakistan still remains out of reach for Foreign Investors from USA.

Economic engagement is not to be expected from US.

. .
Not remain engaged with Pak isn’t an option!!! Anyway, Imperialists are only for themselves!! And, President Trump wants an ROI gain of infinity (zero investment, max return)! Not that Pak has been gaining anything beyond minuscule stuffs without offering a humongous support at the first place! Good news is India has to match Pak....

As for containing China via India, a casual scanning of the Indian history should suffice. Why do you think coronavirus is there for??!?!!

.
Most probably about Afghanistan. Pakistan should change its strategy, unlike the past where we would be happy to assist US for few shiny toys, this time we should demand economic gains. Removal from FATF grey list, a place in NSG and access to markets.

. .
US Sect of Defense Mark Esper is to LIKELY visit Pakistan in the 3rd Week of March, top govt sources confirm. Visit will be a follow up of US President Trump and Pak PM Khan's talks at Davos, to focus on US Pak security cooperation, Earlier US Sect Trade was also in Pak.

Yeh baby now things start moving Esper is key man I like him a through soldier and good person to listen

what do they want from us now?
Sec of Defence is man who gonna deal with US in term of Equipment they don't need anything from Pak now theior war is over but our hostilities with India not yet So we need US equipment too let's see how things moves

The US wants to see India take on China. It is only possible when Pakistan is weak enough to not distract India. It simply doesnt serve US interests to see a strong pakistan. All developments should be seen from this lens. US wont supply us anything that might give us an edge over India. Period.

Now, the earlier we write off these ordered items from our plans and go for alternatives the better. The US would simply keep us engaged by showing carrots and would never officially refuse these ordered articles just simply because the delay in procurement on our side is also advantage India which sits perfect with the US plans.
India has no match with China in any term so India could become US toddy but they know her military worth China one yr spending on defence is almost equal to total Indian reserves.
My take Pak US partnership is right trake we will get all we want US war in Afghanistan is over now do more mantra has no water.

Don't forget Iran Yemen Syria Pak US realtions has solid base of 72yrs yes we have up's and down but I see our relationship will grow further in right direction both trade defence and culture. As trade pie will grow and money will flow Pak will have access more to US hardware its all about money very simple

I think Pakistan's goal is to get the release of CSF/FMF so that it can clear the AH-1Z.

Not sure if we have the stomach anymore to risk more than $25 m of national funds on US programs.
T129 engine but Bilal CSF US will wish Pak should buy military equipment with that money I believe F16 used one with V upgrades this time not by TAI but by Grummans. As @Knuckles said F15E were offered my take we should look in line of Saudi defence ministers visit to Pak last week.

exactly my thoughts the release of CSF would solve lot of financial issues related to our potential purchases from USA

Also dont forget US has made india its puppy for next century. US policy is very clear about India and how they want india to block china. In such a situation the US will never allow Pakistan to pull down India and keep it engaged. The US will only give 2nd tier equipment as opposed to top of the line for India. In times of need the US will also sanction us. So better we keep cautious n reduce reliance on US hardware. The only thing that can benefit us is economic gains. We can get top class hardware from china and Turkey, even russia is willing to sell.
