US making 'big bet' on India in wake of Pak-China alliance: Russian media

An oft repeated question.

Each nation has its own tipping point when it sits up & says ' No More'.

In India's case I feel the tipping points possibly were 1962 & the 7th Fleet in BoB in 71.

Pak has not yet reached its tipping point perhaps.

perhaps pakistan needs 2 send its diplomats 2 u baniyas 2 learn a thing or 2

If relations between Pakistan and US deteriorate, it will have direct bearing on Pakistan's position on Kashmir. US is only international force that can influence India to tables.

just to burst your bubble... if Pakistan and US relations deteriorate in future . it will be huge issue for india as well..
In absense of US relations with Pakistan, china and Russia will fill the gap.. and you know it will help Kashmir ..

UN and US will have no say by then in this region.. it will be taken care off .. simple

To burst your bubble....India is the third largest economy in the world and one of the top four military powers with nukes and ICBM capabilities. It is not easy to bring India to tables. And where did Russia came here? India - Russia relations are here to stay. And China has zero influence on India.

.
Yeah right.
Pakistan is not an Ally.
Just happen to use state of the art US military equipment(Within Budget constraints of Pakistan) Diplomatic support and AID even now AH1Z gunships are in pipeline. And All the leftover equipment including MRAPS and APVS of Nato forces in Afghanistan are being sold to Pakistan.
Yes there are conflict of interests on many areas. but all in all there isnt much that cannot be managed.

Grow up kiddo.
Too much of both Mullah and Modi brigades are dangerous for Intellectual health

AH1Z attack helicopters do not change the balance of power. they are ideal for counter-insurgency operations

I understand China filling the gap. Russia ??

why does pakistan always seek "friends" in its pursuit of its best interests? how has these so called friends helped pakistan in the past? whenever pakistan went 2 war with india, did any of these friends come 2 her assistance. the americans once just placed sanctions on pakistan, the turks once sent some nurses 2 help the wounded and the chinese urged restraint 2 both pakistan and india while the saudis and the middle east ate popcorn and watched the wars

india and its policy of self serving relationships is beating pakistan hands down. pakistan must stop grovelling at the feet of others who pakistan sees as friends. if russia wants friendship then russia must show what the friendship returns. at least the americans put their money where their mouth is

you should ask your friends about your chances in a war. it is amazing you expect help from your friends but you won't listen to their advice.

do u really believe that china and russia will ever step in 2 help pakistan regarding kashmir? Im asking as a matter of interest since I havent come across any friends of pakistan ever offering 2 help in respect of kashmir...perhaps a few offers 2 mediate or 2 condemn indian brutality and pass resolutions calling for end 2 dispute...nobody has ever offered pakistan more than that unless I am mistaken?

No one will come to help on Kashmir, that is the truth. We Pakistan need to sort this out our-self ... And trust me , As Pakistani we do not anyone else to come to help, we have a capabilities to solve it our-self. We just need determination to do so...

US has droned and bombed Pakistan and killed Pakistani assets without any resistance from Pakistan because they kept reiterating that Pakistan is a major non NATO ally.

and..? Pakistan has been accused of doing friendly fire on US troops, it is a hiccup in relations but the US glosses over it because unlike India their policy isnt based on emotions and drama. For the record, they dont bomb Pakistani assets with their drones, they bomb terrorists and if you seriously believe that the military and government dont consent to it then you are just a fool;

"In 2004, the Army intensified its operations, and, as violence spread, Musharraf allowed the C.I.A. to fly drones to support Pakistani military action. In exchange, Musharraf told me, the Bush Administration “supplied us helicopters with precision weapons and night-operating capability.” He added, “The problem was intelligence collection and targeting. . . . The Americans brought the drones to bear.”"

But they wont sell F-16s to Pakistan anymore.

In case you didnt realise the f-16 deal died because Pakistani establishment deemed it wasnt worth that much drama over a jet that more or less has similar performance to our own indigenous JF-17, and if the US was genuinely upset like you claim then why would they continue to sell us the AH-1Z helicopter???

There is a line of thought in Pakistan that Pakistan destroyed Soviet Union by defeating Soviet forces in Afghanistan with some American help. Some theories are floated for the domestic consumption but the world knows the truth.

Now your just trying to shamelessly change the topic. :disagree:

By the way I suggest you read up on the Soviet-Afghan war, Pakistan was responsible for their failure, we ran the Mujaheddin, sent in our own SSG, captured defectors, and even shot down around 8 soviet aircraft. The US provided up with the resources and equipment allowing us to do these things. That war directly led to their downfall, so in some ways we are responsible for the soviet unions collapse.

Heres how it was all organised according to the book "Afghanistan – The Bear Trap: The Defeat of a Superpower"
