Seeking enhanced corporation with India in Afghanistan, a bipartisan group of American senators have introduced a legislative amendment to the National Defence Authorisation Act (NDAA) – 2018 in the US Senate.

The amendment will also increase the role of New Delhi in helping the Afghan security forces, PTI reports. India is one of the biggest providers of developmental assistance to Kabul.

If passed by the Senate and implemented by the US and India, the amendment will increasing India’s role in assisting the Afghan security forces through logistics, threat analysis, intelligence, material, and maintenance support.

This is about COORDINATION for DISASTER and providing RELIEF. No Indian troops are going to land in Afghanistan, or fire a weapon on the say so of the US.

Really? Pakistan won't allow it? The government? ISI rogue agents? Army? What part?
Either way, it'll lead to economic sanctions. So if Pakistan does do this, it'll only lead to gloomy future of sanctions. And when you get sanctions, you get closer to NK in every way. Not to mention America, CAN bomb Pakistan with out little repercussion. Which is why Musharaf got threatened to comply with American demands. What you are suggesting is hardball. If that's the case, Indian troops will surely be serving in Afghanistan, otherwise how will they do it? And if that wasn't the case than US didn't needed a legislative amendment in National Defence Authorisation Act, they would have simply let the Indians to assist them. Seems like the greater Indian agenda is right on its track, can't wait to flog few on a border though, it's gonna be interesting.
