Trump will not change the State Narrative of US , no matter how much he rant about countries or Islam .. US will continue to work with Pakistan , to stable the Afghanistan .. If in our wild guess Trump Provide Extra cover to our Neighbors which cause some disturbance in LoC than the whole Region will destabilize.
but i am sure that US state policy is not just run by one person sitting in White house ..
whoever win's we just have to have work with them, and keep a keen eye on our internal issues and non state actors .

U.S. pivot towards India began after 9/11 and that included containment of China as well as bringing Pakistan into Indian orbit. Next few years will be firming of India as an ally which Clinton had already started as secretary of state by a speech few years back. Trump in my opinion has been a pumpkin that put outside the door with a scary face for Halloween to show what could be yet discard in trash the day after.
