If BD wants to attack Myanmar to avenge the Rohyinga, China will not intervene but if BD tries to drag USA into the affair then China will smack BD silly.

In the future, countries that choose the wrong side will be destroyed and countries that choose the right side will survive. Bangladesh is choosing the wrong side. Other Muslim countries are not so stupid.

China needs to decide whether it is okay for governments to slaughter people on the basis of ethnicity.
Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia have Chinese minorities.

Where did you read China is trying to negotiate peace between BD and MM? The only thing it did is to say a few superficial words to appease the present MM Junta. It was only China that had kept the military in power for many decades and it is China which is fully supporting Suu Kyi who expelled the Rohingya Muslims from their native Arakan.

China is incapable to give anything positive, either to north Korea or to Burma. A day is coming when the UN and USA together will put a blockade in the BoB around Burma only when China will come to its sense. In a sense, it will be the starting phase of the undoing of the Chinese String of Pearls naval presence.

BD should simply annex Arakan. It was part of Bengal to begin with. This is the only way to permanently protect the Rohingyas in their homeland.
