U.S.-run broadcast networks have been responsive to changing political currents as recently as last December, when Voice of America expanded coverage in the area and named its network’s first-ever Eastern Europe chief, citing rising tensions with Russia and “the impact of Russia’s and China’s influence throughout the region.”Progressive critics said that media funded as part of strategic rivalry with a peer competitor can lose its objectivity, or at least the appearance of objectivity.

LOL. Look, hardly anybody read or listen to China's media. The world wide information flow is already dominated by Mainstream Western Media. China has no voice. Yet Congress approves a bill to combat China's "misinformation".Has anybody even bothered to look into the details of this bill instead of taking Lee Harris's word on its interpretation..
Let me guess, something like the usual hypocrite and megalomanic angloid crap: Fighting Chinese propaganda, saving the world and small cute kittens.Has anybody even bothered to look into the details of this bill instead of taking Lee Harris's word on its interpretation..

It may even be dead in committee.
What people constantly don't understand is that bills are introduced all the time and that doesn't mean they are going to be made a law.
You can introduce a bill tomorrow that says everybody in the country must declare their favorite ice cream flavor to be mint chocolate chip. It doesn't mean anything until it actually gets through all the steps...which is very remote:
