A US citizen has been asked by the police to leave India within 48 hours after she was detained by the authorities of the Darjeeling District Jail where she had allegedly gone to meet an arrested ISI agent under a false identity.

Natasha Singh, a resident of California in the US, yesterday met Mesasouria, one of the four ISI agents arrested by the police at Panihati in Kurseong sub-division on May 18, the police said today.

She was detained by the jail guards during her exit after she produced someone else's voter ID card on being asked to prove her identity.

Natasha, whose parents are of Indian origin, came to the country on a tourist visa, the police said adding that she had left for Delhi last night.

May be she is working to find out truth about own Indian nationals who are arrested on false accusation?

If u can read, she s born n bought up in USA. A US citizen, so y the reason she would take pains to find someone unknown or unrelated to her//
We dont even know if she is from media

Yes your media avoided or they dont have enough information to add in the news.

Her parents are from India and she is here to meet those who are jailed on accusation of working for an enemy intelligence agency.

Strange isnt it? why will an Indian origin lady want to meet them?
either from media she be? or may be up to something else. But your govt just deported her NOTHING else.

False accusation? One of the detainee's name was revealed by an upper division clerk of Army in Jaipur who was arrested for spying for ISI. The accused is said to have number of sensible data base which a person of his rank should not have possessed. Each and every detail of these kind of news are thoroughly followed by the media, human right activists. So its not that easy to nab any Indian national on baseless grounds.

Maybe she's trying to expose the Indian staged managed actors and events. !!

Elite thought process!! keep it up:tup:

Our law enforcement agencies must have arrested and detained her for 24 hrs to investigate and they should have produced her in court. Taking short cuts will not take us anywhere.

From the pen of a well known military historian....
If one believed all the tales in the press it would seem that some 1,100 ISI agents were identified in 14 months and it appears that the rumour-mongers have never been told about the boy who cried 'Wolf!' Every petty hood and crook in the country is in danger being labelled 'ISI'--but, as with all malicious propaganda, if these silly stories are repeated often and long enough they will come to be generally believed, just as the 'victory' in Kargil is now regarded as indisputable fact.

Meeting a foreign spy on a fake identity, that's enough justification to lock her up for quite some time until her intentions are known.

Imbicle GoI goofed it up again.

Visiting an accused spy using a fake ID card?
