Knowing south Asian police officers, these bullets could well have been planted. It probably only blew over when the guy refused to pay the demanded bribe.

Well, right now Pakistani authorities are milking him for his cash. Reportedly he already paid $10,000 to his Pakistani lawyers and they're asking for close to 50k. Poor guy is just a cop, he doesn't that kind of money and those money grubbing crooks in Pakistan are heartless.

This is an innocent man who is paying you people his hard earned money and may never be able to come out the debt hole you put him in by asking for ridiculous sums.

I think this guy is stupid nothing more. a clear misunderstanding or oversight has landed him into a bit of trouble but he will be flying home soon.

Thanks for tempering with my posts, quiet a worm like move.

Anyway, Pakistan won't hold this man for long, nor will there be a court case and exuberant amounts for legal, (or illegal fees in India's case) fees, he seems to on job related venture to Pakistan and his line of work involve him carrying ammo. He didn't bring any guns, may have forgotten to pack a few bullets along.

Much like the US cop locked up in India for the same dumb shit. Only in his case his community and peers here are holding charity events and collecting money for him to send to hungry, greedy Indian lawyers.

I know in Pakistan court cases have no relevance and things happen behind the scenes as dictated by the Army. Hence the only money spent is probably under the table.. No lawyer fee indeed ;)

And when RD could walk away after killing 2 Pakistani civilians in cold blood, carrying a few live bullets in the luggage is not something to write home about anyway .. :)

funnily enough you dont seem to be able to make up your mind about whether he carried the bullets by mistake or if his line of work required him to..

Wasn't a new york cop recently caught in India with live bullets ? and weren't a lot of Pakistani members and others saying what we did was wrong?
