What's new

US Army Apache Helicopters securing ISIS convoys from Iraq to Syria first

.
not a apache :disagree:

and you can't even be sure that is ISIS

rather it be verified than assuming though

.
lol, another gullible poster.........

The chopper in question have been discussed in this thread and is determined to be a Mi-35......

Apache escorts ISIS?

Let me repost my own post on that thread

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That profile is a Mi-35, not an apache.

Skip forward to 2:53. You will see the profile have a high tail boom design (Tail boom s elevated above the base of helicopter) While the Apache have a low tail boom design.

This is the profile on the video at 2:53

This is a Mi-35

This is an AH-64 Apache

See how the apache have the tail that align to the base of the helicopter and how the Mi-35 tail align to the top of the helicopter? And look at the picture from the you tube clip closely you see a high tail boom helicopter which mean it was a Mi-35 and the image match the general profile of a Mi-35 too

What are you on about?

Do you think anyone can just upload a video on youtube and give it whatever title they like?o_O o_O

Ohh wait, they can!

. .
Unbiased opinion. That video is not clear about the Apache. Video is hazy. @C130
apache doesn't fly that low even for escort missions. number one suspect would be Mi-24.

as for it is ISIS it could well be they love the Toyota Hilux, but the fact I don't see no IS black flags and no chanting makes me think it isn't ISIS, and the fact the Hilux aren't covered in typical mud camouflage you see from their propaganda videos.

Good point. White trucks are also used by Iraqi Police and Security Forces or Kurdish Police. The title of the video has a bias against the US. It is biased.

That is Russian attack helicopter. ?

Screen Shot 2015-11-20 at 7.45.51 PM.jpg

No Wheels. Obvious tail angling up from bottom of body.

Screen Shot 2015-11-20 at 7.36.01 PM.jpg

US Apache. Wheels. Tail almost horizontal extension of body. Helicopter would sit almost flat on ground if no wheels.

US UH-60 Black Hawk bottom also very flat

Screen Shot 2015-11-20 at 9.13.29 PM.jpg

Russian Hind helicopter. Notice the bottom isn't flat. It angles up at the tail.

Another Russian helicopter. The bottom of the body isn't flat.

Lol we are not surprised.

Also, US invasion and massacre of Afghan civilians was to established US presence in the world biggest opium producing country. United States drug profit from Afghan opium sales easily reaches hundreds of billions of dollar annually, enough to support American terrorism worldwide. US also protects their opium drug assets very seriously.

It's certainly not an American helicopter but it matches a Chinese helicopter perfectly. :-)

Too bad China isnt militarily involved in the current predicament. And if it was China, it wouldnt be protecting these american funded / supported terrorist, it would blow them up.

You think we haven't dropped enough bombs in Iraq over the last 12 years and killed enough people?

Maybe somebody else should do some killing.
