Triple talaq was a purely Indian problem. It has been banned in many Muslim countries as well including Pakistan. Also within Indian Muslim ulema guidelines, it was already strongly discouraged for many years.

If you don't know UCC stands for Uniform Civil Code. There are 2 types of laws - Civil and Criminal. The Criminal Laws are the IPC or Indian Penal Code. It is for all people. Civil laws are laws related to Marriage, Inheritence Divorce. You asked for UCC, I have given you a UCC proposal.

You are now stuck like any other leftist. You know in your heart that what I have given is not at all majoritarian but it is one of the most secular proposal. You also know in your heart that Muslims will not accept it because they love their own laws. And because Muslims wont accept it no "secular" parties will accept it.

Which clause/article would you like to change in the Constitution of India Perhaps Article 30A which gives special rights to minorities. Lets remove the word religious minorities because all religions should be equal in a UCC Secular State

First remove religion as a field in applications-Automatically the caste/ creed will disappear since there wont be a sub section when you dont have a section itself. There has to be a starting point somewhere- India is a very diverse country for UCC to work you cant make everyone happy.

For UCC to work- The Indian constitution has to be revamped no one is special everyone has to adhere to the laws of the land. It needs to be a bottom up approach- No one said its going to be easy-Thats the best part.
