HYDERABAD: Unscheduled load shedding of electricity is affecting industrial productivity as well as export orders commitment.
President of Anjuman-e- Tajran-e- Hyderabad Saleem Vohra, President of Electronic Association Ikram Guddu, President Tajran-e-Latifabad Aslam Shaikh Muhammad Younus and others said here on Wednesday that the process of manufacturing of various export items takes a long time and requires smooth power supply.
They said that electric load shedding causes a huge loss to the manufacturers and also renders the timely completion of export orders difficult.
They further pointed out that many factories located in Hyderabad SITE areas were facing 08 to 10 hours continuous load shedding and their business was being affected.
They also urged the HESCO authorities to minimise the load shedding process through proper planning and appropriate load management so that industrial Manufacturing activity is not disrupted.
