In Ghani Khel, Nangarhar, Afghanistan, Safdar, a highly sought-after TTP commander from Dara-e Adam Khel sustained gunshot wounds inflicted by unidentified kill team.

Following the attack, he was promptly taken to Aryana Hospital in Jalalabad city, and his condition is currently described as critical.

Americans are against LeT and call them “terrorists”. USA knew TTP was in Afghanistan and let them operate right under their nose playing double game with us like we played with them. When LeT was advancing on TTP and about to wipe out their leadership suddenly American drones start attacking LeT. Pakistan couldn’t really do much cuz LeT was fighting Americans and LeT fighters were part of 313 Badri trained by Pak special forces.

When were they all in one place?

Not “all” of them but amongst the thousands of TTA prisoners there were hundreds of supposedly mid and upper tier TTP leaders. There was a period of perhaps weeks (I don’t recall the exact amount of time) between early July 2021 when the US left and early August when the Talibs took Bagram.

The ANA were just chilling out, not even prepared to put up a defense. It would have been the perfect time to do a commando raid with C-130s and pull out just the TTP prisoners and hold them in one of our prisons to negotiate with the TTP to surrender sooner. That was what I was thinking back in 2021. The USAF wouldn’t shot down a half dozen C-130s for fear of fratricide (if anything PAF F-16s could have provided or been on alert to provide overwatch protection for the raid, another aircraft the USAF would be reluctant to shoot down to avoid potential fratricide), and it was a risk that should have been taken, in my humble civilian’s opinion.

Btw, if there were any major weapons or sensors left behind, the commandos should have tried to seize those as well (such as night vision devices or aircraft), or at least bombed the caches.

TTP leadership like Baitullah Mehsood, Hakeemullah Mehsood were killed in US Drones Strikes.

On other hand, Sufi Mohammad like terrorists were released by Pakistani courts. 1st question is why military not killed him, but instead take him to courts, he later died natural death.

Ehsan ullah Ehsan TTP spokesperson was released from GHQ. When TTP broked peace deals with govt/military in past, why they released him?
