"The best of breezes is from Al-Hind"----this, the prophet said when there was no follower of him in Hind(India)....

Is this true? If yes, why did he say so?
Was he talking about the climate?....but he never visited India(as far as I know)....

Any scholar in Islam who could shed some light on this, may be....highlight the associated verses so that the whole context can be understood?

I also came to know about a Hadith(from the internet ofcourse) saying that Hazrat Adam was sent to India, he was accompanied with the breeze of paradise, it is the same breeze which blows in the valleys and trees(of India)......

Sounds like a hoax

All the narrations mentioning Ghazva e Hind etc. have been graded as weak (unauthentic) by Sunni scholars

There is no such narration in any Shia text

These are all "made up" stories from later times (to justify invasions)

That was collective Hindustan... including what is Pakistan now.

Now you are selective in believing hadith... when it comes to India.
India is giving enough reasons to Pakistan to retaliate... no need for inventing a hadith.
If you push your memory, you will find Pakistan was created out of hindustan only in 1947 and these traditions exist before and many sufis and saints have regularly mentioned it.

Meray bhai I am not the one who has graded these Ahadith as weak and unauthentic . Ask the scholars

And may be you are forgetting that Muhammad Bin Qasim invaded India for "no" religious / moral reason !!
And if you say that Hajjaj Bin Yousaf sent him on the call of a few oppressed women , then you should know that Hajjaj himself had over 400 "oppressed" women in his own "Harem" at that time !!

.
Its prob just Mullahs making up these to justify being a mullah or just another egoistic chest thumping!

which scholar has stated this history as authentic to you?

I tell you forget the tradition and see how desperate India is for war.

either we accept hadith or reject it full!
In video posted above dr. Qadri has quoted references from apparently very reliable books.
He was just telling that appearance of Dajal and Ghazwa hind would be more or less at the same time.

Well until and unless it is authentic I have no need to believe in it...it doesnt affect my faith in anyway....

If you believe it thats fine too...

.
BTW qadyani think that hadrat Isa(R.A) traveled to India and is buried in Kashmir India ?

Its not just about hind but there is another one which say study even if you have to go as far as china

for your answer

Answer: Darul Ifta Deoband India

Shia has different view i suppose(saying of Hadrat ali(R.A)

The Hadith is found in Mustadrak Al-Haakim as a saying of Sayyidina Ali (RA);

عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما ، قال : قال علي بن أبي طالب : أطيب ريح في الأرض الهند

Ibn Abbas (RA) said, Ali (RA) said: "I feel cool breeze from Hind." Mustadrak Al-Haakim Hadith 3954. Hakim said, 'This Hadith is Sahih on the conditions of [Sahih] Muslim.'

I generally don't know any thing about ahadees much as you may have seen but this one is THE most populalr one, even hindus know about.

IMO, source of believing is two directional... you may believe in God from its signs and creations but you may also start believing in God after seeing evil. In context of hadith in context... i have posted the video from India.... they are obviously cooking war.
Hindu when become powerful, its his character to attack you.... of course these are all guesses based on history of experience of people.
You can see how they treat Muslims in India... a third class citizen always being followed, living abnormal lifes.

.
That is not the Hadith of the Prophet PBUH but the words of Ali (RA)

''The best wind on earth is in al-Hind, Aadam PBUH was sent down with it, and its trees caught some of the wind of paradise."

The Hadith is Authentic according to Sahih Muslim but didn't approved it nor included it in his book of Hadith.

Is it? Was it Hindu emperors raiding from North to south, east to west, all throughout the history? Is it the Hindus who denounce all other religions and force convert people whenever they are in majority? Or may be it is Hindus who venerate the invaders involved in mass killings/looting..

This one is interesting :

(sahih bukhari Book #71, Hadith #596)

Narrated Um Qais bint Mihsan: I heard the Prophet saying, "Treat with the Indian incense, for it has healing for seven diseases; it is to be sniffed by one having throat trouble, and to be put into one side of the mouth of one suffering from pleurisy." Once I went to Allah's Apostle with a son of mine who would not eat any food, and the boy passed urine on him whereupon he asked for some water and sprinkled it over the place of urine.

which scholar has stated this history as authentic to you?

The Ghazva e Hind Ahadith are weak according to a lot of Ahl e Sunnah scholars and hence rejected (few examples are : Dr . Israr Ahmed , Javed Ghamidi , Maulana Abdul Hamid Numani,Mufti Sajid Qasmi, Maulana Mufti Mushtaq Tijarvi of the Jamaat-i Islami Hind etc. )

I am not 1 learned in Hadith so I will refrain from replying! :)

Sounds like a hoax

The source is internet i.e other forums which are not regarded as authentic sources after-all, that's why I didn't mention them....and wanted to know from a scholar whether it is true or not....
Already some of the confusion is cleared by @Arabian Legend(post #11) , that it is not said by the Prophet but by Ali........so, you don't need to worry about it being a hoax....
