There was a time I thought I understood Pakistan and it's policies. This was before 9/11. Perhaps I did not really understand it but that is not the point. The point is that I thought I did.
Now? I do not understand it at all.
Now let me explain the context.
As a nation, during the eighties and the nineties Pakistan was building itself nicely. Even against US, and it's sanctions, it came across as a nation which would demand rather than get dictated.
But now, specially against US and NATO, I can not really figure out what is happening.
And please do not troll. I merely ask for quality inputs and insights for now the situation is beyond comprehension to me.
More specifically, is Pakistan caught in a catch-22 situation? How can it come out of it? Etc.
Regards,
Anoop.
