Since the journalists have become holy cows, willing and equipped to fully exploit the post-truth era to further their own narratives, affiliations, and beliefs. A journalist is an intellectually dishonest person who instinctively knows what to censor and what to publish. In the quest for truth, it is important to understand and know the personal beliefs, political affiliation and past commitments of a journalist who's is deliberately and systematically trying to sell you something. We have been following the commentary by Farangi state-owned media like BBC and VOA pertaining to PTM; their pet project to destabilize Pakistan by activating ethnolinguistic faultlines. Recently a report by the British state-owned broadcaster BBC created a stir.

It was submitted by one of its editors, M. Ilyas Khan who alleged human rights abuses by Pakistan's Military during counter-terrorism operations. Although it is crystal clear to the reader that the report itself is a purpose-built fabrication, created by the BBC editor with the help of PTM activists to enforce their false victimhood narrative, it is still important to take a look at the past commentary by Ilyas Khan. We mined his twitter account for his personal opinions on the issue and found a plethora of evidence which is sufficient to prove that the said editor is politically affiliated with PTM. Having looked at the records, it is clear that his personal beliefs could have influenced the outcome of his reporting.

It is also clear that before he went on to uncover the alleged abuses, Mr editor had already made up his mind. The result of his article, we believe was preconceived. I am sharing the list of tweets I have found on his profile with the forum audience so everyone can debate and draw their own conclusion as to whether Ilyas Khan was acting as a reporter or a politically partisan activist.

BBC has exposed itself and overtly joined the ranks of terrorists supporters so now it is right time to ban its broadcasts in Pakistan on the TV, radio & internet.
Hybrid war is in full swing and it is our responsibility to stay alert and actively defeat enemy propaganda.

The correct counter approach to the British subversion would be for the ISI to develop links with Irish unionists, Scottish separatists, Welsh separatists, and Argentina. Pakistan should sell anti-ship cruise missiles to Argentina among other equipment which would greatly help Argentina tip the balance of power, to free Islas Malvinas from British occupation in the future. The British are providing refuge to terrorists like Harbiyar Marri, Altaf Hussain, Mehran Marri and others like them as well as economic terrorists like Ishaq Dar, Sharifs. We are done begging the British to "take action", it is time to talk to the British in a language they will understand and will respond to.

But the first and the easiest step is to put a stop to this propaganda. It should be declared a banned organisation in Pakistan so not only it cannot broadcast into Pakistani airwaves & internet but no one should be allowed to report for them. This is the low hanging fruits. Rest selling of the weapons is concerned, yes we are free to sell any system to any country.

ISI shud fist atleast take revenge from India for Ormara, Gawadar and Lahore attacks. They shud be the priority

The correct approach is to properly fund PTV and raise it to international standards of reporting, like Al-Jazeera, TRT, RT etc.

AJ is a massive pain in the arse for BBC and Britain.

Their AN32 went missing, two AN32 written off the service after being damaged beyond repair...two more MiG21 lost and altogether 19 of their IAF officers lost. BTW please don't score own goals and use your brain. Is it too much to ask for?

Do both... ban BBC and reorganise PTV btw Indus TV has a good style but Aftab Iqbal stupidly employed Najam Sethi as its president which is so disappointing, I did not to think of Aftab as being so stupid.

Why hasn't the BBC office been shut down in Pakistan? The state should register a case and sue them

Very old platforms, lost due to Technical issues.

Is older than C130's of PAF?
No as it came in late 70's and PAF has upgraded C-130's time to time.
AN 32's in IAF are not very well maintained and they even lost 5 during repairs in Ukraine.Bharat is going for an upgrade due to having lot of troubles with fleet.
**India inked a $400-million deal with Ukraine to upgrade the AN-32 fleet. The upgrade of the over 30-year-old fleet was supposed to extend the aircraft's life by 40 years with improved avionics, modernised cockpit and an increase in payload from 6.7 to 7.5 tonnes.**
**A batch of 40 AN-32s was sent to Ukraine's state-owned Ukrspetsexport for upgrades and refurbishment.**

They have lost 5 or may be 6 to date.Out of 100, current operational fleet stands at around 64 platforms.By sheer number of grounded platforms you can tell yourself about over all health of fleet.
Mig 21 have been built by HAL,you can guess quality yourself.

Why? Indian military budget is 9 times that of Pakistani mil budget and in addition to that PA and PAF have been in the state of war and multiple coin operations so definitely a lot of the costs involved in operations.

Indian Army is far larger then Pakistan Army.Lot of their budget goes as salary for active personal and pension for veterans.
They have more Mechanical elements(Tank, trucks,Guns etc)as part of force, more mouths to feed, more fuel & spare to purchase.Couple this with rampant corruption and this budget is gone.
On top of that, their most of Equipment is of Soviet origin which is maintenance hungry.
