I remember this video, but i didn't know that it's the same Anwar Ali currently playing in our national team squad.
What happened to him, his balling is so dead, doesn't even move a little bit, the most dull fast bowler we ever had he looks like.

Watched the match live that day. As an Indian I was dissipointed to be honest as we lost the match.

What a talent he was.. but sadly wasted.. Pujara , Rohit sharma, Jadeja .. big names didn't have a clue wat was happning to them... hats off to that spell..bravo...

Some time over coaching also ruins a natural talent ! Our problem is that we have natural in born talent in our players but don't have good coaches who can develop that talent ....on the contrary they ruin a budding blossoming talent ! Look what has been happening to Nasir Jamshed, Ahmed Shehzad, and some other natural attacking players ! They are forced to change their natural techniques by so called coaches and result is awful ! Our past legends like Majid Khan Asif Iqbal, Zaheer Abbas, Javed Miandad, Inzamam ul Haq, Sarfraz Nawaz, Imran Khan, Abdul Qadir , etc. all become great because they just nurtured their natural talent themselves and luckily there were no local coaches to ruin them. BEst thing to do is to let a players natural talent grow and let him learn from his mistakes !

I sincerely wish that Anwer Ali can see this video and try to work to bring his swing back somehow although unfortunately I think it wont be possible now and we have lost a big talent through mismanagement !
