India isn't asking UN to step in, much to the frustration of pakistan.. we will never ask any international body to intervene for matters relating to pakistan, in contravention to shimla agreement. All matters must be dealt bi-laterally. Pakistan is trying everything to somehow get out of this situation, create a precedent of India asking for some world body to intervene. India of course knows way too well not to allow that. We will retaliate with same coin and then some. In that way, international bodies won't have jurisdiction when we up the ante, say stop indus water or something like that..
LOL.. kasab was pleading for consular access.. pakistanis had abandoned him.. just like they had done to kargil soldiers..India made one mistake, it denied consular access to Ajmal Kasab. And now begging for consular access for KY.
