We honestly treated not only the Indians but all the other nations that fell to us as upwards 90-100 countries has fallen to us and India is just merely one of them with all being treated fairly..

The moral compass comes from human rights that we cherish and the liberty a civilian enjoyed in a muslim sultanate has not been achieved until recently..

1. Freedom of religion
2. Liberty in bussiness
3. Right to security
4. protection of property
5. fair judge
6. the spilling of the blood of kafirs is illegal

The only way one could kill is in combat and only allowed to kill combatants not civilians or non-combatants

1. Destruction of 40,000 Hindu temples was to promote freedom of religion.
2. Imposing Jazia along with Pilgrim Tax on Hindus was to encourage business.
3. No Hindu could ride an elephant, a horse and a palanquin to ensure their security.
4. Protection of property was ensured by the law that If two or more Muslims, or persons subject to Muslims, who enter a non-Muslim controlled territory for the purpose of pillage without the permission of the Imam, and thus seize some property of the inhabitants there, and bring it back into the Muslim territory, that property would be legally theirs.

You can also argue he is saying Afghans are Indians then. Not sure what would Afghanistanis feel about that.

America abandoning Ukraine is an argument much discussed, it can also be about Indian abandonment of strategic ally in Russia. Throw in China in the mix and recipe for a plebiscite look enticing for Pakistan.
