I have to agree somewhat .. I have 1st hand experience of the savagery you speak of...but Mr Policeman’s behaviour uncalled for. Unacceptable over here .

JonAsad thank you for your quickness on posting .. I don’t accept that you should severely beat someone who surrenders. Okay maybe some exceptions to that rule but you make sure no surveillance.

I was in that general area a few years ago and I can tell you there is a definite divide. It’s in the air , very uncomfortable in my experience.

I normally side with the police against the scroats but each case has to be considered on it's merits.
The guy has put his hands up and is not resisting.
