UK lawmakers visit BEXIMCO industrial parks in Bangladesh

A delegation from the United Kingdom, which included the lawmakers of that country including Bangladesh-born Rushanara Ali, Mohammed Yasin and Tom Hunt, visited the industrial parks of the Bangladesh Export Import Company Limited, commonly known by its trade name BEXIMCO, recently.

This is as per a press communiqué released in this direction, which underlined BEXIMCO Group Director and CEO Syed Naved Husain welcomed the visiting UK delegation, which also included British High Commissioner Robert Chatterton Dickson, Rushanara Ali’s assistant Amy Leeming and UK’s Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Jonny Reynolds at the at BEXIMCO PPE Industrial Park and BEXIMCO Industrial Park.

The delegation also reportedly visited the Bangladesh office of UK-headquartered Intertek, which specializes in testing and certifying industrial products.
