The British government has taken up the issue of using pellet guns in Kashmir with India.

Baroness Anelay of St. John’s, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) stated this while responding to a number of written questions submitted by member House of Lords Lord Nazir Ahmed.

Baroness Anelay said that the Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Alok Sharma discussed the use of pellet guns and alternative methods of crowd control in Kashmir with the Indian government’s representatives in October.

She said we engage with India on human rights matters and will continue to work collaboratively on the promotion and protection of human rights.

LMAO.
They said the same thing in 2011, we simply gave no fuks:
12, September 2011
Initiating a general debate in the House of Commons on human rights in the Indian sub-continent, Steve Baker, Conservative MP, demanded that an international commission should investigate alleged human rights violations in Kashmir.
Baron Howell of Foreign Office stated that the British gov't is in touch with India on the issue.

Interestingly the above the OPs post is based on a British Parliament question hour from 12-Dec; just 5 days later we spanked 15 Kashmiri stone pelters with pellets, thus giving a tight slap to human rights terrorists.
Just two days back another one got spanked with pellets in Pulwama.

.
Kashmir has already been normalized now..Strikes were called off & news press started working again..
Not very relevant issue amid all havoc going on outside.
Really? so no more 700k SF in kashmir? no more curfews? no more ban on prayers in jamia masjid srinager?
