Been several times to this beautiful city. Although I must say, I never had the money to spent time living in the lake palace.
Haven't been to Rajasthan yet, but its definitely on my bucket list. Beautiful scenery, amazing people and culture, rich architecture, ancient IVC sites, and fantastic vegetarian food. BTW @Tshering22, have you been to Gujarat? Highly recommend it. It has some of the oldest archeological sites in the world(including India's oldest standing structure dating to 3500 BC, and the world's oldest port) as well as some good natural scenery, rich culture, good food(especially if you are vegetarian), music, and dance, and world-class cities. Proud to say its one of my home states.

Yes I have been to Both Gujarat and Rajasthan several times. In fact, there are very few places in our country where I haven't travelled. It is in my job description to travel. You won't be getting all those lovely adventurous documentaries on TV if it were not for my team. :D
