The UAE has pulled its troops out of Yemen, Yemeni sources said on Wednesday.

According to the reports in AP, the Emirates have withdrawn its soldiers out of the airport in Yemen's second city Aden and pulled out all of its fighters in one day. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to speak to the media.

The UAE is a key partner in the Saudi-led coalition which has been bombing Houthi positions in Yemen since March last year. It has been on of the largest and most active coalition partners on the ground and has also reportedly brought in some 450 Columbian mercenaries to help in the war against the Houthis and their supporters.

Since the ground operation began, dozens of Emirati soldiers have been killed.

While coalition forces and their allies pushed the Houthis out of Aden last year, clashes have continued in the city with both the Islamic State group and al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsular trying to expand their presence.

On Monday, a gunman killed a senior Yemeni army officer in Aden in the latest high-profile assassination attempt to rock the city.

The gunman, who was on the back of a motorcycle, killed General Abedrabbo Hussein as he was leaving his home in the Sheikh Othman district of the city, Yemeni sources told AFP.

Hussein was commander of the 15th Infantry Brigade which operates in Abyan province, west of Aden, where Al-Qaeda has seized several large towns in recent weeks.

Last week, a suicide bomber killed at least 14 soldiers in Aden on Wednesday, in an attack claimed by jihadists of the Islamic State group.

A man, dressed as a solider, reportedly detonated his explosive vest in the midst of a training session run by Sudanese forces of the Saudi-led coalition, which has been helping to train and advise Yemeni troops fighting the Houthis.

More than 6,100 people had been killed in the fighting since last March, when the Saudi-led coalition began its intervention.

The UN said another 3,000 people had been wounded and 2.5 million people forced to flee their homes.

Highly doubt authenticity of this news. I don't think they will return unless normalcy returns to Yemen.

Huge news if true but better to wait and see before jumping to any conclusions

The UAE is having a number of anti-Iran proxy confrontation like the one in Yemen. Shouldn't you be quitting any business affairs or personal visits to Dubai then? The UAE isn't a supportive state to Iran and its agenda (ever since 1979 at least), so wouldn't you consider them an evil country to have any type of association with?

The same should apply to the tens of thousands of Iranians living in Dubai. They hate Arabs, their countries, their leaders, their culture, their language (they don't learn anything about it despite long residency). Yet, they decide to live in Dubai. Why the contradiction then?

Agh, the usual Full Moom ignorance. When you say "The same should apply to the tens of thousands of Iranians living in Dubai. They hate Arabs, their countries, their leaders, their culture, their language (they don't learn anything about it despite long residency)" you don't know what the hell you are talking about. A lot of Iranians that have been in Iran don't hate Arabs, nor their countries, nor their cultures, nor their language. A lot of those Iranians know Arabic and there are quiet a few prominent UAE families that are originally Iranians.

Only in your own twisted mind do all Iranians hate Arabs. We don't.

In terms of business, maybe you should start from your side if all you Arabs supposedly hate Iranians. Savola Group in Saudi is a major Saudi company. They own 80% in Behshar Group in Iran which, among others, has cornered the edible oil market in Iran. Why are they involved in iran?

It's the same with UAE. Majeed Al Futaim is a huge UAE company. They operate businesses in Iran. Why if UAE hates Farsis so much?

I know you are still a young man, and youth shouldn't be a source of criticism but you really need to stop bragging about your ignorance so much.

Just because for the past year your country is acting like a woman on PMS doesn't mean the rest of the world is going to emulate it.

I am not that young anymore as I am 33. Please stop playing taqiyyah (in the cultural sense) with us. Farsis are well-known for their anti Arab deeply rooted culture. See what Dr. Sadek Zibakalam has said in this Article as one example only http://www.alarabiya.net/articles/2011/10/09/170927.html

Or this video of one of Iran's contemporary poets (Mohammad Reza Alipayam). Note the big applause after he finished. This was all public in a cultural event held in Iran.

When I scroll any comments written by Farsis in a subject related to Arabs on any given website, I can be damn sure it is full of stuff like"عرب وحشي، سوسمار خور، ملخ خور and the rest of the racial things you know better than me. You have no business staying in Dubai as Farsis. Nor Savola or Al Futaim are supposed also to waste their money in Iran. There are other peaceful and well respected nations that deserve their investment.

Maybe all Saudis think alike. But Iran is a country of 80 million people with 80 million unique perspectives. You have anti-arabs and pro-arabs and millions who don't think in such terms.

Regarding Savola Group, you should pressure your own community to deinvest from Iran. We don't mind.

It is so revealing that you went from complete denial to partial acknowledgment upon only exhibiting a tiny example. That is the tip of the ice berg which one could found among the thick layers of taroof and taqiyaah. It is better for you and your kind to keep some dignity and leave us alone in Dubai, Kuwait, Qatar or elsewhere. Why not become like the nation of Azerbejan or Uzbakistan. Most Arabs know very tiny amount of information about them.

We haven't seen any harm from them and neither we caused any harm to them. Look north towards Europe, the U.S, and Canada. Over there you will find the rule of law, civilization, and stability. Arabs on the other hand won't ever offer you any respect or fairness except an utter amount of disgust.

more worst are the Indian hindus in this regards (their hate against Arabs and Muslims is evident in this forum and everywhere in English media). they openly support israel and support Palestinian genocide, they openly support Iranian against Arabs, never leave a chance to curse arabs or blame arabs, yet they are in millions in Arab world.. why u dont u show ur ghairat against them?

Well Palestinian genocide (or so called) is a famous political subject in Iran and Pakistan only. Nobody else gives a shytt about it, not even Palestinians outside Palestine.

I have done this before (although less than what I have done to Iranians). Indians have their own issues with Muslims and Arabs (although their big animosity seems to be with non-Arab Muslims i.e. Pakistan, Bangladesh...etc). We do have huge numbers of Indians in KSA and it may be hard not to see an Indian guy every day. While there is still some hindus in KSA, their number has decreased over the years in favor of Indian Muslims.

While Indians might be somehow vocal about their animosity over the Internet, they don't still seem to have as much hatred as Iranians. They are more easy going and peaceful "mind your own business" type of folks. Even when I travel abroad, Indians (including hindus) where pretty much friendly and easy going. In all events, hating or loving is something irrelevant so long as it is not translated into actions. Indians' animosity of us would mostly be verbal/non-action type of animosity. While the Iranian version of animosity is translated into decades planned conspiracies.

The every hate compagain against Arabs on international media come out from India not Iran.. people form opinion on internet now a days.. just visit English media, u wont find a Pakistan commenting about Arab affairs, even if u find he would be supporting Arabs or Turks but u will sure find tons of hindus cursing arabs calling them terrorists, ridiculing their culture, religion etc... and that make base for western Arab haters who get inspired from yindoo fanatics and support persians against Arabs even after being ally of Arabs for decades.. anyways good luck with ur Arab vs Persians... keep killing each other.. hope u completely destroy each other one day.. i hope Nawaz Sharif help u both in destroying each other so we can occupy ME easily :D Jk.

At least hindus say what in their mind and are not cowards who hide behind lies and Taqiyya to make their ends meet.

And full moon I disagree. There are a lot of minorities who hate farsis and their religion and culture and they are the key in the next revolution to bring down the Mullah and their shahs of sunset offsprings.

The first thing I said to your insane and off topic rant was "A lot of Iranians that have been in Iran don't hate Arabs, nor their countries, nor their cultures, nor their language."

Notice that I said "a lot of". I didn't say every single one of Iranian. Unlike you, who think millions of Arabs are clones, I don't think all Iranians think the same. We have a lot of variety.

But this conversation is silly.
