U.S. to boost freedom of navigation moves in South China Sea: admiral

You have so many assets in the SCS. It is almost obscene...

"U.S. to boost freedom..."

We will boost freedom even more. Rest assured. Let's see who boosts more.

Okay, try to boost it faster before TPP make CN economy collapse in abt 2028. Its still too hard to see CN flags in Spratly on the map now

China HQ is fake product copied from Russian.:P

Southern China cities are in target of our missiles too.:yahoo:

Good old Scud missiles! Did you get them from the fire sale of Saddam Hussein's Republic Guard?

.
And China shall increase militarization of South China Sea islands as response to even more belligerent US provocations. I must say, without the aggressive behavior by the US it was quite difficult for China to justify the military build up.
So China's claiming of the entire SCS is not aggressive at all. Chinese intimidation is fine, but if anyone resist, then it is they who are aggressive and belligerent. Got it...

That is is the spirit, my friend. Do not listen to detractors, just keep on doing what must be done, unabated. The louder they yell, the harder one should dredge more land !

Yoish!!!!

You know, my friend, when one claims so stubbornly and ahistorically moral high ground, the only way to beat them is to climb even higher in rhetoric to make their insincerity even more manifest. Sort of employing the opponent's discourse against them by exploiting the inherent logical-empirical weaknesses.

We should not let all the beautiful terms (freedom, liberty, justice, good vs. bad, city on the hill, etc.) to be monopolized by the US.

LOL.

The greater sovereignty Japan achieves, the greater the need will get to find similar soft tactics and strategies to counter ceaseless manipulative moves against you.

I have , and i am not alone in this in japanese academia, come to believe that China's ascendancy and ability to challenge power systems, is a mode of opportunity for Japan (and the rest of east asia) to reawaken from an imposed slumber. This is why i believe that China is, truly, the conduit upon which Japan will rise. I see China's rise as pathway for the rise of Japan. The two are tied. The two are connected.

I feel China at times serves as a lightning arrester for the region, attracting so much attention, thereby opening room for the peripheral neighbors to feel their direction more liberally. Also, China acts a stabilizer due to its sheer size and, as you have pointed out elsewhere, through omni-directional diplomacy.

On the other, the US need to engage China more comprehensively brings about un-called-for pressure on Japan as, the greater China gets in importance, the greater its periphery gets in importance. It can only be anticipated that our (especially NE Asian) neighbors make the most out of this for the benefit of their own and of the region. Thousands years of accumulated political knowledge and discerning-power has, in the post-War, played well, as we are standing on a better foot that we were during the colonization period. So, I am optimistic of the future.

I seem to have used, in that quote, the modal 'should' only once, my friend. Why so harsh?

That there have been no military operations since 1987 in the SCS should be reassuring to all international parties.

hahaha, no reefs or island is not important, can you draw EEZ with China controlled island in between the ones you control?

as long as we control those islands, you have no access to any fishing or undersea resources in SCS near the spratly or paracels, period. :yay:

Your economy is going down badly, the number of jobless pple in CN is increasing. Many Cnese here also admit that RMB may fall to half, too.

CN cant u continue to control those islands in SCS(east sea) while your Govt. fail to create more stable jobs to save your economy, specially TPP kick in will put an end to your 'miracle' grown :)

hahaha, Go check the GDP growth numbers in 2015 and let know how we compare to poor third world country Vietnam.

Oh and if RMB goes down, it will destroy Vietnam.
China's currency devaluation will hit Vietnam really hard: economists | Business | Thanh Nien Daily

My friend, please understand we only have minimal defense on those islands, just as other parties in the SCS have fortification. What we did is no different than anyone. Please accept our concern. Thank you.

TTP? LOL, Vietnam may get export increase on Garment sector, with good imported from China, (by the way, who has a free trade agreement with Vietnam), processed for export to the US, while Vietnamese get the lowest paying jobs, Chinese investor keeps all the profit, and Americans lose all the money on import duties, you tell me who will be the winner :omghaha:

Also enjoy Patent/IP laws, paying for expansive western drugs, and you will never have a high tech sector.

Talking about 2018, 99% we will nuke Vietnam and grab all islands by 2018, but meanwhile, enjoy the air defense we provide in Paracel.
