U.S request Pakistan to Close PAK - IRAN border

Closing border is perhaps reasonable for our own security but as others have said, there should be absolutely no permission of troops build up, air bases, drones or anything else connected with the American war effort against Iran.

Close the border and enjoy your war.

The Americans must not be allowed to exploit us.

And KSA and UAE and OIC can all fk off too. People here thought they were here for Kashmir. No, all the bs of the last week was over Iran.

Not an inch to be given to these Arab manipulators. Enough is enough.

Separately, I truly fear for what will follow the mullahs. The Shah was very educated and friendly to us but those days are long gone. Modern "Persian dissidents" are like kabulis in their behaviour towards Pakistan and their love for Bollywood. I'm not afraid of Iran's mullahs as although they're Indian allies, they wouldn't dare attack Pakistan directly. A US puppet Persian state however would spell trouble for Pakistan.

I actually hope the mullahs can hold USA in a perpetual state of war. Til the world's end.

Weren’t iranis asking us to take steps against terror coming from Pakistan into Iran few years ago ?

I’m not expert as many members here, but we can continue to fence all ours borders without politicising it. But yes gov should explain clearly that the work started when Iran was not happy.

Now if they are not happy we are closing our border, it’s not our problem.

If course I could be wrong.

Everyone play politics with Pakistan on border management same as Afghanistan and USA play their game on Pak-Afghan border at the one hand they demand to control cross border movements but oppose border fencing, same was the case with Iran as well but since last years almost all the issue related to it were resolved with mutual understanding.

Now the issue is fencing of border is in Pakistan's interest but the issue is we can not complete fencing of almost 1,000 KM border it in limited time, so If we accept the American demand to seal the border we would have to deploy forces from other border areas which we could not afford, therefore we should just refuse the request of USA on the ground that we are already short of manpower due to already prevailing crises at other borders of Pakistan.

it is an effort to politicize Pakistan's effort to fence the Pak-Iran border. Pakistan is already doing this from the past some years, it was, it is and it will be in Pakistan's interest but now after this propaganda, this project would come under sectarian propaganda.

Such things will propagate more in the coming days by anonymous media like that news source. In my opinion, as the world media and world print media is discussing more about this thing " How Pakistan will respond to this matter, How Pakistan army will respond "
In fact, this is not an issue of Pakistan. But it's only for the people who are Pakistani but have more love for Iran. So only to exploit them to create some kind of chaos in the country.
