Two youths from the Northeast beaten up in Gurgaon

Two youths from the Northeast were allegedly attacked by eight persons at Sikanderpur, police said.

The incident took place on Wednesday night when the victims, Aayug and Alato, were thrashed by eight youths, all residents of Sikanderpur village, the SHO of DLF Phase 1 police station said.

The victims sustained severe injuries and have been admitted to Gurgaon Civil Hospital for treatment, police said.

The medical examination of the victims is being conducted and an FIR would be lodged on the basis of the medical report, police said, adding, the two have not yet filed a formal complaint with the police.

The victims were living in a rented room in Sikanderpur village. While Alato works in a private firm , Aayug is unemployed, police said.

The culprits are yet to be identified, they said.

After everything that is going on in Delhi, you say this? I am the first supporter of law and would want the guy punished if he did something wrong, but Gurgaon didn't have these problems.

There was a person from Manipur beaten up in Bangalore. That guy people say was illegally proselytizing which pissed off the locals. That is breaking law but the final verdict of investigation has to still come out. If he has done wrong, then he deserved it.

But didn't expect Gurgaon to follow idiotic morons from Delhi.

Though I never faced a racial situation situation like that in Delhi, but I know people who have faced it a lot from my region.

Most of the Delhiites are from across the border. However, their wealth in Delhi through property sale and other businesses has screwed up their mentality.

No other city has this problem with people from my region, and I say this because I have traveled across India.

If you are an Indian or have even traveled to any state in NE for example in Manipur; you will see that they have vegetable sellers who don't even stand on their stands. Instead they have a box where people drop money for what they buy and the vendor collects it in the evening.

Not saying that there is no crime but many cities here are dozens of times safer than Delhi.

Stick to European matters which concern you.
