hats-off to our decision makers. How the hell their brain worked when they send low flying mig27 to battlefield with tons of manpads
But great shoot by Pakistan army
A farce ceremony for a farce war..no disrespect to the AD shooters.
I am sorry but you have to be a solider to understand this war.
I think you were born after kargil war. Else you would have known Kargil operation was conducted by your army keeping your political leadership in dark. (PMs of India and Pakistan were perhaps busy in Delhi-Lahore bus journey)well salute to pakistan armed forces they work 24/7 seven days a week 4 weeks a month 12 months a year and 10 years a decade and 100 years a century and beyond that too so we and our childrens sleep well and i blame the polittics of the both sides for lives been losted in war

Two country faced mutual destruction- you have to give credit to your army for that. Elected Government of Pakistan avoid escalation of tension by ordering pulling out of troops from Kargil- you must blame them for that...
I agree it was a failure for Indian military intelligence. And definately the casualties for Indian Army would have been much more if Pak troops and militants remained on their positions. Pulling out of Pak troops save many lives from both sides not only in Kargil but in other sectors also (which would have opened if regaining control in Kargil proved difficult). Whoever has planned Kargil for Pakistan never calculated the outcomes. It was a failure from begining. I dont know why Mastan Khan blames political leadership. Their conditions was like the captain whose bowler was getting wikets only in No Balls.i was in azad kashmir during the kargil war. Non of it was a secret, every one knew what was going on, including the Prime minister. If i a 5 year old at that time knew what was going on how come the prime minister of pakistan didnt know what was going on. PML-N claming that they knew nothing about this operation is the biggest joke in the world.
this conflict was in my opinion was a victory in the initial stages because the pakistani army was able to pull it off and caught the indian intelligence by complete suprise. However in the end this opertation was a failuer beause the pakistani side weren't able to hold the positions they had captured.
For the indian side it was a failuer in the initial stages because of the intelliange fauiler. in the later stages however it was a complete succes because they were able to retake all the lost territory despite the fact that the pakistan army held the high ground. having the advantage of high ground is very important in mountain warfare, even more so at kargil. For this reason the indian ability to retake the lost bases was even more impressive.
