KARACHI: Three people, including two Chinese nationals, were injured in a blast in Karachi’s Gulshan area on Monday, Express Newsreported.

According to initial reports, the blast occurred due to a CNG explosion in the vehicle. However, conflicting reports suggest the explosion occurred as a roadside bomb went off opposite as the vehicle passed near Quaid-e-Azam Park.

Further investigations are underway.

This is a developing story and will be updated accordingly.

. . . . . .
Kindly change the topic name ..... there is difference between CNG explosion and blast

there is a Punjabi saying... " thoray chay bohta pay gaya aye"

that's how our neighbour is behaving......

It's not CNG. It was a pressure cooker bomb claimed by some sindhi nationalist group. The passersby informed the police of the suspicious device but police ignored their pleas. Stupid police.

I m hoping this incident turns out to be as natural accident, otherwise it is a liabiility on us to take revenge on those who openly opposes CPEC.
Express tribune called it a bombing by a JSQM type, India supported movement. Rao Anwar has repeated continually as did Chaudhry Aslam that Indians are involved in such attacks and in promoting terrorism in Pakistan. It is direct arrogance of the media that they do not include or cut up the statements of the top police/law enforcement figures like CID chief Chaudhry Aslam. Even if it is untrue this is the view of top investigators and debate should be centered around it. We know how India opposes the CPEC tooth and nail.

Police modernization is key to stopping all forms of terrorism in Pakistan. Even in a simple robbery case it takes police more than 3 hours to arrive at a 1/2 kilometer location. CID's performance against all forms of terrorism under Chaudhry Aslam was phenomenal however proving some special police and forces groups are taking strong leaps in defending the country. I hope Rao Anwar takes the mantle now since Chaudhry Aslam is dead.

Your signature says Jaanbaz is dead? Is it true. :o

I was just watching the tele and the news reporter was reporting from the scene. He was talking to a guy who said he informed a passing police mobile vehicle but they did not listen, then they tried stopping two policemen on a motorbike even they said this isn't our job. I should add, that they reported the suspicious device long before it exploded.

Police need more than reform, they need a good dose of chitrol to discipline them. This incident could have been averted if the police had just listen to the concerns of witnesses.

Lol and Jaanbaz is banned, not sure for how long.

Looks like the super uglies from the east are carrying out their attacks against CPEC. Pakistan military high command and PRC will be aware of the situation and acting accordingly to the evolving threat. Let our hyper physically deformed enemies be aware that make no mistake about it: Just as Pakistan became a nuclear weapons state despite near impossible odds so will CPEC be a MASSIVE unfathomable success no matter what our enemies say or do.
