CHARSADDA: Charsadda police have thwarted a terrorism attempt as officials of the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) defused two bombs, each weighing eight kilogrammes, in the jurisdiction of Saro Police Station. The explosives, placed in cooking oil tins, were planted in Konra Colony. Locals, after spotting the explosive material had called the police. The police reached the spot and the bombs were defused. According to BDS officials, the explosive materials included ball bearings and detonators. The police have registered a case and started investigations to identify the miscreants. app
