Elon Musk has huge, big stakes in China. Twitter bird is chirping now, maybe the ban will go in China...

There was a lot of hullabaloo surrouding modiland's own shudh, dharmic, hindutvafied, saffron version of twitter app "Ku" a while back. what's become of it since then?

.
Cleansing in full effect at twitter.
Next should be to charge user fees to eliminate stupids/unnecessary bots

.
I'm not sure why people are celebrating this.

These cuts are most likely to the content moderation team.

Musk's plans for downsizing of labor are pretty much entirely to do with cutting content moderation jobs.

Indians in Twitter Inc were biased against Pakistani Handles and were banning them Left and Right whenever they criticized Indian Governments Policies in Kashmir.

This will almost undoubtedly result in more lynch-mobs that don't get stopped by content moderation teams though.

I think that's more important.

"...employed just over 200 people in India, and the cuts left it with just about a dozen staff, people familiar with the matter said..."

We know Google, Facebook, Microsoft and many other big companies have huge campuses and office/factory complexes here.. kinda surprising twitter has/had such a small presence, spl given how popular it is and how significant a user base Indians make.

Twitter ki ghar-wapsi (to 'murrica ofcourse).

Anyone that wasn't shadowbanned on twitter instantly forever ago are simply too mainstream anyways.

The content moderation teams are there to stop things like lynch-mobs, not political stuff.

Not having adequate numbers of content moderation team members is the reason why the Rohingya situation happened.

Do you want things like that to happen more often?
