Turkish Peace Operations in Syria (Operation Olive Branch) Updates & Discussions

Turkey needs more direct involvement to keep ISIS recapturing the freed towns and villages by coordinating air n ground operations.

No one can achieve goals without sacrifice. Any nation and not just Turkey will have to go through this phase to achieve good results in Northern Syria against ISIS/DAESH and YPG/PKK. See how Iran is sacrificing its forces, investing in training Shia Militias throughout the region from Pakistan to Lebanon despite being Persian but a zeal to expand its influence in this crucial part of Middle East and setup a Shia control over the mainstream Muslim region of Islamic World. Turkey needs to go through these revolutionary phases i.e. use of large numbers of ground forces with air support, raising of internal militias or special inernal forces, Syrian militias inline with Irianian Nakhba, Hizb Allah and other Iraqi Shia proxies.
This is the most right time to act in this direction or the PKK/PYD/YPG, ISIS and other Anti-turkey forces will get more time to conspire and make Turkey more weak internally to face these threats on later stages.

Iranians get support from the major powers in the world for that.
They're good servants, and will use Iranians and Shias for their destruction of the Middle East.
There's no chance we'd get support for this, if we tried to do a similar thing. The Americans for sure would not let it happen, a Turkish Militia in the ME.

DEASH re capture more places, after US special forces join operation, after US some of FSA commanders gave up to fight, looks like FSA can not ensure unity after US. Also 6 FSA commander killed after US special forces join...

Another fail in FP, nice job.

Imo, especially since the last week or so, too much time has been wasted on whatever was happening behind the screen and with the US deliberately stalling the operation on the ground by causing disorder among the fsa.
This operation must not fail, come what may. Our army and fsa should go straight to Al-Bab without caring about diplomacy. It's very obvious the US wants to keep us away from Al-Bab.

Americans always get what they want in the end. Unfortunately

I can even tell you what will happen if this operation turns into another fiasco (the chance is pretty big considering Erdo's success so far and the way this whole operation is going so far): American/Westerners/FETO/Jews/Kemalists will be blamed for it and considering what is the IQ level of the majority of those who vote for AKP they will believe it... Then they will vote for Erdo again.

I doubt that bro. If the govt messes up this operation and returns empty-handed, the backlash will be immense as the threat of a ypg united corridor in the long-term is already known to the people. Also chp and mhp are with the akp on this operation, if akp decides to stop despite chp's and mhp's call to go on, it most probably will get ugly for akp. Akp's votes may even drop lower than last year june's elections. Let's just hope our nation will keep stand united and at least get al-Bab. Very interesting time ahead.

Thats a very easy excuse for the mistakes, its not like US forced itself into this operation, its being coordinated with them for more than a year, their SOF joined the operation with Turkeys consent.

There are two scenarios:
-Turkey wasnt smart enough to recognize the fact that FSA wouldnt want to fight alonside US.
-FSA betrayed Turkey since its impossible that they didnt knew about US involvement, US made numerous statements about their involvement in the operation numerous times and even helped with airstrikes on the first days.
Which one do you like more?

If our goverment was smart they would make a deal with SAA (if it isnt too late already) and attack ypg together, which would automatically involve Russia and Iran.
But this isnt very unlikely too, Erdogan doesnt really have any ally left that would trust him at this point anymore, wrong FP of the last decade destroyed most strategical scenarios at once, bravo.

Last scenario is an invasion with thousands of soldiers, this would cost us more than just money though.

Its hardly unlikely to say the least that Turkey didnt know rebel stance re US troops. These are more or less the same gruops that refused to join SDF.

In other news, Ahrar al Sham officially joins Eupharat shield battle
