Turkish F-35 vs Israeli F-35

You think that's some mathematical equation?
That's totally not how it works, 100 F-35s would decimate anything in air to air combat. Kill ratio of F-35 in exercises against 4th gen aircraft are 27:1.
I don't think you should take what some Members here say that seriously. Most members here are more nationalistic than otherwise, so it's normal that they will make such bold nationalistic claims like/ WE DON'T NEED THE F-35' and we will soon induct one ourselves independently of the the West(which some consider an enemy). What some don't realise is that it's almost impossible for Turkey to produce a credible world standard 5th generation fighter jet independently. They have not and can't even produced a credible/viable 3rd-4th generation fighter jet independently. Very few countries have the industrial capabilities/experience/supply chain/skills and technical know how to produce a fighter jet, much less a 5th generation one. A country will need to create a complete supply chain, an eco system where every company and skills people to work together to create a product and that requires a near perfect planning. Plus once you have created a jet, testing is required, design modifications will be required until the jet has finally met the specifications as set out. Yes, all this could be done, but a medium country like say Malaysia would have almost drained it's defence budget(tens of billions will have been spent in this endeavour alone). It could also result as a failed project, unless everyone is working for free or working for something to achieve something then that would be a totally different story. Moreover, a single hit in 1 area of supply chain will affect the rest of the project. It's for this reason that actually building a viable fighter jet is that difficult(reason only select few countries have been able to do so far). The country that could build fighters are those with decades of experience of building them, they have a solid supply chains of thousands of companies, supported by people with decades of experience of building fighter jets, and they built on this to move up to 5th generation ones.
Plus once you have created a jet, testing is required, design modifications will be required until the jet has finally met the specifications as set out. Yes, all this could be done, but a country like Malaysia would have drained its budget. It could also result as a failed project! unless everyone is working for free or working for something to achieve something then that would be a totally different story.

So any talk of doing so in a few years i'm afraid is just wishful thinking. Even with our defence giants helping Turkey it will still take a lot of time for a prototype to even appear. Plus, the way things are going we might not even go through with it if there's an unexpected fallout between Turkey and the Western powers. So still remains to be seen.
By contrast the F-35 is already in service with several countries and still growing and maturing with each passing year. It has basically no equivalent in the World right now(the only mature 5th generation fighter jet in mass production) and covers a whole lot of spectrum. It's no wonder Turkish leaders despite all their grandstanding are still pushing for the US to deliver their F-35. There simply have no other viable alternative out there. So they got no choice to be honest.

1 ... We have seen what happened in 1996

12 Turkish special forces SAT Commandos captured the Island ....and planted the Turkish Flag on the west Island and Americans said to Greeks that the TURKS captured Island and It wasn't until 4 hours later when the Greeks noticed this when a Greek helicopter took off at 5:30 am from the Greek Frigate for reconnaissance

during the mission Turkish Navy shot down Greek Helicopter with Electronic Warfare attack over the Island
and 3 Greek officers on the Helicopter died (Christodoulos Karathanasis, Panagiotis Vlahakos, and Ektoras Gialopsos) ....... and Greek admiral Hristos Limberis resigned in 1996

2 ... in Kosova War 1999 Only the US and Turkish Airforces could night strike in NATO ... 17 Turkish F-16s were equiped with Laser guided Bombs and LANTIRN night vision system to attack Serbian military targets

the UK,France,Germanny had Tornado or Mirage Jets without night vision system

3 ... its not our war .. and without Russian military support Assad is nothing

4 ... Turkish Airforce has only F-4 and F-16 to bomb terrorists

5 ... Turkish Navy and Airforce blocked Italian drillship in the eastern Mediterranean
Turkish Navy and Airforce blocked a Greek Frigate from harassing Turkish drillship in the eastern Mediterranean Turkish Airforce blocked British Fighter Jets from harassing Turkish drillship in the eastern Mediterranean

and Egypt is barking
1. It was a disputed rock in the sea and remained a disputed rock in the sea.
2. There were over 1000 planes there + over 30 ships with Tomahawks. Indeed 17 Turkish F-16 made a huge difference.
3. So distant Kosovo is ur war and u came to "save Muslims" (although over 1000 jets already saved them), on the other hand genocide of Muslims right at ur borders is not your war. Amazing logics.
4. B-17 can also bomb. Much cheaper.
5. So its ships.

every month your Netanyahu goes to Moscow to lick Putin
Few hours before u wrote this:

Putin and Rouhani licks American-Israeli butt now

Again u are confused.

.
They have not and can't even produced a credible/viable 3rd-4th generation fighter jet

You compare Turkey with Malaysia .. very funny
and You underestimate Turkish defense Industry

10 years ago the US-Israel said same thing about Turkish UAV-UCAV projects
but as of 2019 Turkey is one of top 5 countries in the world for UAV-UCAV technology

-- BAYRAKTAR TB-2 Tactical UCAV ... in service
-- ANKA/S UCAV ... in service
-- AKSUNGUR UCAV ... first flight by 2019
-- AKINCI UCAV .. first flight by 2019
-- GOKSUNGUR supersonic UCAV ... under development
-- MIUS stealth UCAV by 2023

Yes its so difficult to develop 5th gen Fighter Jet , therefore Turkey is working with BAE Systems technical assistance for TFX

so Turkey can develop 4+ gen Fighter Jet similar to F-16 Block 70+ but Turkey has started developing the 5th gen Fighter Jet

Turkish Aerospace Industries produce F-16s under licanse for decades ... and Turkish Aerospace Industries's world class facilities and machinery on a 4 million sqm area with a state of the art industrial facility of over 296.000 sqm under roof

Turkey can turn HURJET next generation trainer and air close support / light attack Jet project into 4++ gen Fighter Jet project ( similar to F-16 Block 80 )

To realize what Turkey is developing

SAAB Gripen-C

Length : 14 m
Height - 4,5 m
Wingspan - 8,4 m
maximum altitude 50,000 ft
Engine thrust: 18000lbf
MTOW:14t
Payload: 5000+kg

TAI HURJET

Length - 13.4m
Height - 4m
Wingspan - 11m

-- Engine thrust: 19200lbf
-- maximum speed Mach 1.5
-- maximum altitude 45,000 ft
-- range 2500+ km
-- with its 5000 kg payload
-- AESA Radar

TAI HURJET Cockpit .. almost similar to 5th gen Fighter Jet Cockpit
uyhiqn95.jpg

Aselsan GaN based AESA Radar will be ready in 2022

8z37pzw9.jpg

Aselsan SPEWS-II Electronic Warfare Self Protection Suite

SPEWS-II is an advanced, internally mounted self protection system specifically designed for F-16C Block 50 Fighter Jets

Aselsan has started deliveries of 60 SPEWS-II to the Turkish Airforce

-- Radar Warning Receiver (RWR)
-- Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) Suite
-- Deceptive RF jamming
-- Intelligent control of chaff/ flare dispenser systems

l5ri4xv6.jpg

EHPOD Self Protection Jammer Pod for F-16s

ECM Systems to jam Radars
to protect Aircrafts from guided Missiles

2nu9zaqv.jpg

Aselsan IFF Mod5/S long range (friend or foe) Identification System ( only 4 countries in NATO and 7 countries in the World )

-- Long range operability ( 250 nm / 463 km )
-- Lethal interrogation capability

Long Range IFF Mod 5/S interrogator

ndvh2jw6.jpg

the KEMENT National Tactical Data Link for Missiles ( Network Enabled Weapon Project )

KEMENT tactical data link terminals will be available in many applications and platforms that require electronic warfare protected , high speed tactical data communication from a long distance

It will add Midcourse guidance and two way communication capability for missiles

esdu6rps.jpg

SOM-J network enabled stealth Cruise Missile ( land attack/anti ship capability )

so Turkish Aerospace Industries , Aselsan , Meteksan , MILSOFT , AYESAS , Tubitak-SAGE and Roketsan together can design , develop and produce 4++ gen Fighter Jet

TAI : Fusulage , design and integration
ASELSAN : GaN based AESA Radar , Targeting Pod , Electronic Warfare System , IFF System , Electronics-Avionics
AYESAS and MILSOFT : Data Software
METEKSAN : National Data Links , Network centric Warfare
ROKETSAN , TUBITAK-SAGE and MKEK : Cruise Missile , Air to air Missiles and Smart Bombs
TRMOTOR /TEI / KALE AERO : Engine

Instead of seeing indigenous T-FX with hundreds or even thousands of it in the Muslim geography especially around Israel; the USA/EU or Israel would rather to see F-35 in Turkish inventory, and honestly to some degree they can even give some F-35s for free of charge as long as the Turk aviation industry is out of service, as it happened in the past Turkey shut its aviation factories and indigenous and exported ''war'' planes in 1930-40s.

With the developements in the Turk Defence Industry, the only problem is the time, nothing else as the threads in Turk Section in PDF are available to convince the doubtful minds and their cocky attitude. Unfortunately, Countries in Muslim geography still stay aside in the first-to-break-west-hegemony project a.k.a T-FX and airwarfare industry of Turkey.

Therefore, All those threats of USA are only cheap shots, the fear in the first paragraph makes them noiser than ever... as some Israeli and ''Western'' members here.
