Turkish Air Force (TURAF) pilots have tested the A400M military transportation planes which will be added to Turkey's Military Force's inventory list in this September.

The Airbus Military will deliver the first party of ordered ten new generation A400M cargo planes to Turkish Airforce until the end of the September 2013. The A400 cargo has passed many tests successfully and its quality has been approved by pilots who tested them in two different airbases of Turkey. Turkish Airforce Personals admired the technical features and maneuver ability of the plane and say that they are looking forward for the delivery of planes in September. TURAF will be the second world-wide user of the plane after French Air Force. The Airbus A400M Atlas is a multi-national four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft. It was designed by Airbus Military as a tactical airlifter with strategic capabilities. The aircraft's maiden flight, originally planned for 2008, took place on 11 December 2009 in Seville, Spain.

.
Good for Turkey. This will significantly enhance your logistics carrying ability as A400M has more muscle than the C-130 and therefore can carry more payload.

But is this aircraft on scheduled after the last two delays?

I had heard that non-European partners namely Malaysia and South Africa had pulled out?

Yeah. It's to keep them out. Anyways, we already had some good logistic&transportation force such of a 92 aircraft. With those, it's gonna increase to 102 :yahoo:

what is the contribution of TAI in this project

Turkey has contributed parts to the first planes of the new Airbus troop transport (A400M) model, in which it is participating together with five European copartners. Tusaş Aerospace Industries (TAI) signed an agreement with Airbus Military Company and has completed the shipment of six sets of middle-front fuselage, emergency exit doors, rear fuselage upper panels, rear upper escape door, three sets of ailerons and 15 sets of spoilers. As part of the project, the middle- front fuselage and front fuselage parts which TAI designs and produces are put together in Spain. Other elements will be designed by Germany (fuselage) and France (nose). TAI will also take the responsibility of producing and supplying all the internal and external lighting and clean/waste water systems of the planes
