Bangladesh, as an air defense missile system developed by Turkey's first national facility "Medium Altitude Air Defense Missile System" which HİSARI-He chose. According to Southasian Monitor, HISAR-O received orders from friendly and brother Bangladesh before it entered the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces Command. Bangladesh chose HISAR-O Air Defense System developed by ASELSAN and Roketsan instead of Russian Pechora 2M Medium Range Air Defense System.

HISAR-O is capable of destroying fixed and rotating wing aircraft, cruise missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles and air-to-land missiles.

HISAR-O provides fixed and rotating wing aircraft, cruise missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles and air-to-air missiles within a range of 25+ km within the scope of air defense of fixed units and critical facilities. The system, which continues its tests successfully, is planned to be taken into the inventory of Turkish Armed Forces Command by 2021.
