Turkey’s ‘Blue Homeland’: striking a balance in the Eastern Mediterranean

What you don't understand is that when you make enemies of too many countries for no good reason and many of them are some of the strongest in the world economically,militarily,diplomatically,you eventually weaken yourself,not become stronger. It's realpolitik. It's about diplomacy.

I don't think Turkey cares about these tiny nations as it is strong herself plus it has Pakistan as an eternal ally including Central Asia plus China.. There is no bad ties between China and Turkey nor was there any historically.. Some of the strongest lol yeah. It is just tiny Greece.. Many people? who are these people? France, Greece, and Cyprus basically lmao? How are they gonna contain with Turkey+Central Asia+Pakistan.. They become non-existent entirely.. Turkey could bash all these heads towards a wall.. To many enemies bla bla.. Everyone fears Turkey and will look the other side.. Don't waste your time

What makes you think Central Asia is on the side of Turkey? Kazakhstan,Kyrghyzstan and Tajikistan are in the Russian sphere of influence. Turkmenistan is neutral and Uzbekistan doesn't care about Turkey's wars. Azerbaijan is the only one who could help but then again,only if the Russians didn't intervene politically or militarily.
It's not just "France,Greece,Cyprus",it's also Egypt,Israel and a very displeased America.

Turkey does have defense treaties various with Turkic states they are pretty much Turkish allies.. Don't confuse the CSTO anything more than a treaty between the turks and Russia. All these five are irrelevant when it comes to Turkey's scale, and influence hence Turkey is unbothered by tiny kids screaming from the backyard

Wait a minute,wait a minute 😂 Who are the five that are irrelevant when it comes to Turkey's scale? The 5 stans or the Greece/Cyprus,France,Egypt,Israel? You said Central Asia and Pakistan. Ok tell me,who in Central Asia would help Turkey in a war between let's say half the Eastern Mediterranean and France?

.
The Entire mediterrananean region are allies except Algeria and Serbia being the outsiders and being eastern aligned. Initially it is all smoke screen and decitful as they are all in the same alliance.. Syria is technically not part of the med region..

They have defense treaties across central Asia and looking to form a united Turkic states by 2040. They also have an existing turkic council member states union. It is not smoke screen but a mere reality. In truth Turkey doesn't view these in eastern mediterranean i mean Greece and couple others as security issue it is just viewed as a cute neighbourly state and a tourist destination.. Egypt is viewed as trading partner on the long term.. They are not even on the turkish agenda or what is precieved as state threat or priority. Turkey views only Russia as security threat on the long term. They have good ties but on the long term it views them with suspicion

China occupied East Turkestan and killed millions of Uyghurs since 1890s
still The persecution of the Uyghurs continues by China
China occupied Xinjiang in 100 BC, maybe you should learn to use Google

The Turks and the Greeks are the same ancestor by blood, and both are indigenous to the Anatolian Peninsula.
The Turkic Empire was defeated by the Tang Empire, and hundreds of thousands of people migrated to Central Asia, and finally occupied the Anatolian Peninsula;
Most ancient Turkic people are assimilated by Han Chinese.
Modern Turks have only 10-15% of ancient Turkic genes; modern Hans have 3-5% of ancient Turkic genes;
Modern Turks claim that they own Xinjiang;
This is a lie. As a counterattack, China can also claim that China owns Turkey, because we have 3% of ancient Turkic genes.
So this is a ridiculous political propaganda

I'm sorry but that's not true. We don't have the same ancestors and blood. We're talking about two different nations historically and ethnically. And the Ottomans established their power and lived in Anatolia from the late 13th century onwards. I don't know how much that counts as "indigenous" but in any way there's no relation with other ethnicities that live or used to live in Anatolia 🤷‍♂️

When have Turks from Anatolia ever needed help from outside Turkey?

Was there a time in history where Turkey was not "isolated"? You talk as if Turks and rest of these nations used to sing kumbaya and then AKP came to power :lol:

I don't know,ask him,he said "Central Asia" and I was like "who?who's gonna help from Central Asia?" 🤔 😂

Oh come on,you enjoyed great diplomatic ties with many Western and Eastern States during the Ottoman Empire. And even during the 1920s you had the support of the Soviet Union,the Germans and others.
Later Turkey was in NATO and relations were very good with almost everyone.

You should ask who came to help Greek Cypriots and the Armenians before them. You need to worry about that much more and in the future who knows, Greece will be a target if they do not behave. There will be no Orthodox Church to come to your rescue
