End of ISIS? Turkey forms super alliance with Russia to ANNIHILATE Islamic State in Syria

TURKEY has called for a partnership with Russia to help wipe the Islamic State off the face of the Earth.

Ankara's foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said the countries are seeking to patch up bilateral ties in an interview with Turkish media.

He said: "We will discuss all the details. We have always called on Russia to carry out anti-Daesh operations together.”

Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Vladimir Putin this week to "restart dialogue and restart relations" according to Moscow.

Tension has boiled over between the two states since a Russian warplane was shot down by Turkish forces near the Syrian border in November last year.

But Putin has been an active player in the fight against the blood-thirsty fanatical group in Syria and Turkey is hoping to support its fight.

Commander Lieutenant General Sean MacFarland, who heads the US-led Operation Inherent Resolve, issued the bleak assessment after spending almost a year fighting against ISIS in Iraq.

The experienced general said the future of the Islamist group was as an al-Qaeda style insurgency once its territory had been carved up in the Middle East.

Cavusoglu added: "Let’s fight against the terrorist group together, so that we can clear it out as soon as possible."

The talks come as ISIS prepares to wage more attacks following military defeats in Iraq and Syria.

He said: "Military success in Iraq and Syria will not necessarily mean the end of Daesh.

"We can expect the enemy to adapt, to morph into a true insurgent force and terrorist organisation capable of horrific attacks like the one here on July 3rd in Baghdad and those others we've seen around the world."

Benefits for Turkey;

* Turkey will control that Turkmen areas will not be bombed via direct line between two armies' heads of general stuff.

* Turkey will destroy unbased claims that Turkey aids Daesh.

* Daesh will not get closer to Turkish borders in comfort.

* PYD will be under pressure and control against a wrong move towards Turkey.

* Bombing coordinates will be shared with Russia and vice-versa.

* Turkey can secure the borders more easily.

I already mention before. Turkey will ditch FSA and join Russia support Assad if he wants to win Putin over.

.
Turkey will not dump FSA, Assad is still a dead man walking.

The kurds however are going to get screwed

There is no such news about Assad-Fsa front. So don't be certain.

The coup failed. Russia actively supported Erdogan in order for him to beat the coup. Also Iranians welcomed the failure of coup. Then the news of US sponsoring the coup comes - join the dots. Turkey is going into the Russian Camp!

Kurds were historically always pawns for everyone. FSA is another pawn. Assad will go nowhere.

i would support that tho, think what happens when FSA loses? All this savages will run to Turkey and turn our country into a sh*thole and in 5 years later we would see Seculars or other ordinary people getting attacked or even killed.

lf FSA somehow wins, the country gets divided and taadaa pkk territory confirmed in syria.

Turkey and Russia need each other, the U.S and Europe only care about themselves it would be good if Turkey is allowed into SCO

But they do not see eye to eye on Assad orctye FSA, Turkey however wants to ensure it can enter Syrian airspace to hit kurds

If Turkey and Russia had cooperated from the start, Daesh would have been finished long ago. Any way from the news it seems that Daesh is now retreating and is near defeat. Russia and Turkey should start planning for a new map of the middle east. A map which corrects the fault lines drawn after world war 1. We support our Turkish brothers.

.
Turkey should be ready for the suicide bombings from Daesh, total war is inevitable between ISIS n Turkey.

Look at the egyptian jumping on the opportunity to attack Turkey.

Why would ISIS attack Turkey only?

What about Russia, Iran, The west?

But in your egyptian brain it's only Turkey, does it hurt? :omghaha:

The only solution to this problem right now is if Assad stays in power and Syrias borders are kept intact.

More rights given to all citizens such as education in own language to kurds and tv channels, similar to how it is in Turkey.

But still one Syria no federations.

If Assad doesn't step down by himself in a few years someone should assasinate him to pave the way to a new president.

This is the only solution as the west/russia interests conflict.
