What's new

Turkey records nearly 1.2M live births in 2019 Total fertility rate was 1.88 last year, below popula

Yeah I pay bills even if I live with my parents I contribute.

I cant leave the house until I marry which seems like a rule my mum made. My brother thought about moving to an apartment which pissed her off. His getting married this year.
Yeah well i also thought my contribution meant anything until i moved out. Its not like i struggle or anything, i have a very comfotable life and still put money a side but i still learned to be more careful with money since im on my own.
You will understand an avarage family struggle in Turkey a little bit better once you move out, then you will understand that making children isnt a question of nationalism.

The turks will a lot of them complain and whine and not do anything about it.

Speaking of darwinian theory by this rate we will be replaced. Australia has a garbage fertility too.

Its now the norm not to have kids mixed in with fag marriages and feminism.

Only way to fix the fertility rate if a gradual civilisation collapse happens and the hunters and gatherers alongside the Nomadic peoples inherit the earth is when things will get fixed.

Lets be realistic the drop in ferility rates are intevitable.

True. Thing is, nobody is against fall in birth rates. Turkey birth rates fell from 5+ in 1980s to 2.3 in 2000. That is a good thing. But the problem is collapse is fertility to extremely unhealthy and dangerous levels. THAT is very bad and negative. Turkey should aim to keep its fertiity above 2.1 as recommend by scholars. But having a fertility rate of 1.58 is disastrous (if you take out Kurds+Arab areas, Turkish fertility collapses further to 1.58).

Yes I know Australia and Turkey are both different no doubt. Whats with the poor salary in Turkey. In australia a lot of it goes to tax but still your able to keep money at least.

Its still demoralising to be honest to see low fertility rates. I dont believe in having 10 kids for me 3 or 4 is enough to be honest.
