WASHINGTON: The Pakistani Taliban is planning attacks on foreigners participating in flood relief operations in Pakistan, a US official warned Wednesday.

“According to information available to the US government, Tehrik-e Taliban plans to conduct attacks against foreigners participating in the ongoing flood relief operations in Pakistan,” the official told AFP on condition of anonymity.

“Tehreek-e-Taliban also may be making plans to attack federal and provincial ministers in Islamabad,” the official warned.

The floods have affected an estimated 17.2 million people, of whom at least eight million are believed to need life-saving humanitarian assistance.—AFP

I hope they attempt to attack some USAF chinooks and get a plethora of ammunition in return at whole sale. That will teach a lesson to these devils and cleanse them once for all!

I highly doubt any of the relief helicopters are armed.

**I need to clarify I meant armed with medium to heavy weapons like they would be in Afghanistan.

The news is coming out from people that plan to finance these attacks to change Pakistani public perception. The American Black Ops/Mossad/RAW and Afghan intelligence must be planning new attacks and blame them on usual suspects.

Preemptive defense for something that has not even happened shows people are in denial mode. Given the appetite for conspiracy theories among the Pakistani public, one can also make an argument that the Pakistani government/Army/ISI plans all these attacks and blames it on American Black Ops/Mossad/RAW and Afghan intelligence to keep the anti-US/Israel/India flame alive.

But in all honesty we should keep vigilance to an all time high, as we know these anti-state elements will do anything to exploit such situations to embarrass the state, government and tarnish our reputation.

As for US Heli's, last i heard they have a SSG armed solider or two on them... Will try to find a photo of one.

Well this wouldn't be surprising. The TTP are the worst scum of the earth. Anyone who doesn't agree with them must die. I hope proper measures are taken to protect the people they are planning to attack.

That's rich, yet again, coming from an Indian, where anti-Pakistani/ISI conspiracy theories are rife even among them politicians.
