Trump Predicts U.S. Economic 'Bubble' Could Soon Burst

. .
It all comes down to who can get more of 'their' people to the polls.

But considering you're NZer, I could care less.

Again, don't be surprised when Trump is addressed as President at year's end. People underestimated him when he first announced that he was going to run for president, and people underestimate him now. He's no fool, he wouldn't make a baseless prediction for no apparent reason. The US economy is in trouble, and the government knows they can't stop a incoming recession, quite possibly this year.

You really mean to say 'couldn't care less.' And you are welcome.

There is no such Thing as a collapsing economy.

Receding economy.

When he first entered the race only idiots would think he was an underweight. The fool's been campaigning for the past 8 years while the other fools just started.

He is a fool and a slut who'll say anything to be in the news.

No it's I could care less. I care at least a little because everyone knows that it's really NZ that signs off on who can become the US President.

He's just a guy who's most likely going to be the next us president.

Glad to see you care. We are just interested in seeing who the next person is that's going to further destroy your country.

Do you know about the central voter theorem?

The American political system is set up where the voting parties (Republicans, Democrats, etc) hold primaries. This is where each of the candidates of each party attempts to get the vast majority of their party's voters.

From these primaries, there is a convention held where the party elects the candidate to represent them. This is usually done by whoever got the most amount of votes from the primary.

Then we have the Presidential Elections. Where the entire American Voter population votes. Now this is tricky. Each State has a certain number of electoral seats. These electoral seats are selected by the people in the Presidential Elections, and the Electoral College as it's called votes for the President of the US. Most states have a rule where the candidate who wins the vast majority in the State gets all the College votes of that State. But usually there's no guarantee of that and in many instances the lower voted candidate can get the support.

Which ever candidate can position themselves towards the center of the political scale will usually win. Now Trump is the guy who's the letter 'L' on the image above. He can re-position himself after the primaries towards the 'A' or 'M' but then he risks alienating his core voter base who'll call him a traitor etc.
