Trump praises release of U.S.-Canadian family, says 'positive' for U.S.-Pakistan relations

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday praised the rescue of a kidnapped U.S.-Canadian couple and their three children by the Pakistani military, calling the effort “a positive moment” for U.S.-Pakistan relations.

On Wednesday, the U.S. and Pakistani governments “secured the release of the Boyle-Coleman family from captivity in Pakistan. Today they are free,” Trump said in a statement released by the White House. “The Pakistani government‘s cooperation is a sign that it is honoring America’s wishes for it to do more to provide security in the region.”

**** Off you Piece of White trash. Pakistan does not need your praise. You can shove that where the sun does not shine.
This is actually a slap on your pathetic face because not too long ago you accused Pakistan of double game and harbouring terrorism. The fact is US forces and CIA along with that naswar eating and boy lover Afghan army couldnt do jack shit while the captors were in Afghanistan and waited till they cross over, only to ask Pakistan to do something about it. Pathetic losers.

.
infact key thing here is that trump is trying to portray this as some success of his do more policy...... which its clearly not.... at any point with or without trump Pakistan would have acted on this intelligence (despite the fact US was not able to jack sh@t about it while they were in Afghanistan as they apparently only crossed over on 11th)..

its always is a good sign when your enemy is lying to its public.....

we are not in hostage taking buissness....
if we take some one ... that person is never found ... be sure

.
Much as you might complain but UK is still a more fairer country. Notice how US media is blending the story. It is reducing the role Pakistan Army played by mulching the facts. Compare this with BBC headlines.

**** Off you Piece of White trash
You need to tone down your language. Much as I don't like most of the stuff this guy posts but no need for language like that.

. .
Yeah, Pakistan got intel from the US on 11 Oct that they have crossed into Pakistan, and on the 12th you have an OP.

And they weren't 'released' as the article implies, they were rescued. Big difference.

All I pointed out is a key difference in the narrative being put forward by both sides, that is all. Make of it what you will.

Why is that? Forum rules? Perhaps otherwise this piece of trash deserves the same tone by every Pakistan.

Pakistan has once again proven its ability to tackle the threat posed by militants due to timely intelligence sharing and coordination between the US and Pakistan military. It shows that both countries have a lot of common ground and common goals which can be secured if they work together in a friendly environment.
The successful rescue of the hostages by Pakistan shows it has adequate and qualitative capability to strike hard and complete its mission. Pakistan has a lot of hostage rescue experience and during WoT, it has further improved its skills.

Pakistan have repeatedly stated that there are no sanctuaries within its territory and most problems arise due to unobserved border movements. This incident shows that the need for border management along the Durand line is essential to prevent criminal activities.
Pakistan welcomes any cooperation it gets in the fight against terror. The current visit of a high level US visit can certainly play a constructive role for any future cooperation and collaboration. We hope to work together with our US and Afghan partners to eliminate terrorism from the region.

What kind of narrative you expect from Donald Trump? We shall take the narrative given to us by the ongoing visiting US delegation including Lisa Curtis as the official narrative and so for, it is all but supportive of Pakistan in its fight against terrorism.
This incident again shows that what Pakistan faces due to the cross border movement getting unchecked. We need to secure our borders and Afghanistan needs to be cooperative for its own good.
