Poh an tui did not represent majority of Chinese in Indonesia at that time. Therefore you can't bring Poh an tui to justify Sukarno/Suharto discrimination policy toward chinese ethnic in Indonesia.

The best solution was for the Chinese to recognize their shitty fate in an Indonesian republic and actually organize a republic on Borneo for themselves, and that way they would extricate themselves from Indonesian society. That would've been the best solution.
