LAHORE: Police successfully foiled a terrorism bid by seizing a truck containing a huge cache of explosive material from Shahdara Town of Lahore city, DawnNews reported.

During a routine search, police halted a truck on the Rawal bridge check post, where they examined 40 gunny sacks allegedly containing brimstone. A deeper inspection uncovered the explosives hidden in the vehicle.

Two suspects were also arrested from the site. One of the suspects belonged to Chakwal while the other hailed from Mardan district.

Police took both suspects to an unidentified location for interrogation.

Every single move the TTP making is becoming a failure. They have not yet responded with even a small scale blast in the past 1 month except the one in NW when they tried to penetrate into the hospital but forced to explode 100m away from the hospital

.
TTP is history, inshAllah and full peace will restore, Army promises to route out all militant and terror groups.. I hope by all they mean clean up Karachi and Punjab as well..

.
The only problem here is, we are not told who these rented terrorists, this should no longer be kept secret from us.

. .
Karachi is a mess and is full of TTP and illegal Afghans. Once NW is secured, must do full op in Karachi.

Border towns in FATA will still be attacked if Kunar and Nooristan bases remain active. Again once NW is fully conquered we have to shift focus on Afghanistan and look to conduct full op in these areas with assistance from NATO.

It would be a big mistake to just secure NW and end the war. The country will still remain in the perpetual state of violence, does not solve the problem.

Sir,

It is not prudent to ask for trouble---remember what happened to George Bush---.
