Troll Hunters

Hi,
I am virtually sick with trolls. They come and with ease derail the thread.Sometimes, they Jump in even without any logical pajama up their posts. I suggest that we can have some dedicated members who constantly look for such efforts and may identify such persons. If not allowed banning privilege (which may sound unjust and inappropriate) they may be headed by a team of dedicated moderators for this cause.

Moderators are already doing a fine job.You can report the troll and my experience tells the post gets deleted in a short span of time.

but with increasing members, It would gradually become more and more difficult for a mod to do all the jobs.....thats why i suggested a "quality assurance" type of dedicated team

Could someone please tell me if there is a way of knowing how many people of any particular nationality are there?

oh yara use the report button
Trust me it works just fine!

Whenever i have to report somebody.......... i report and the action is taken within few minutes usually.......... each time the post gets deleted and the member is usually get suspended/banned if inappropriate

You do the same and the magic will happen!

Ya that tends to happen when you're flashing the Pakistani flag.

I suggest you change your flag for a day, I'm sure you'll see the difference!

Pray, tell me, why this thread not a troll thread?

It's becoming a fashion nowadays complaining about trolls, and strangely these complains coming from lesser known member whom I rarely see engaging into any constructive discussion.

The Mods and Admins can look at the IP address of each post from where the message originates, assuming a proxy server is not being used (then it is still possible but more difficult to trace the origin).

This obviously works reasonably well for the subcontinent, but the situation gets murkier for other countries where expatriates are present.

don't worry, i can understand why you're so discombobulated. It tends to happen when one's weltanschauung is confined within one's own disposition.
