Travel Advice: Berlin, Germany

All i know is that Germany was bombed to the ground by American and British aircraft during WW2, hundreds of thousands of civilians of every walk of life were burned to their death by powerful and never before used material, mercilessly and indiscriminately by the "democratic" American and British "liberators".

Dresden was an open city that housed thousands of captured allied prisoners, not only that but it was also a cultural center of Germany and had no affiliation to military garrisons or factories producing war material, yet the "Liberating" and "democratic" allies rained hell on the city for a whole night engulfing Dresden in what later came to be known as a "Fire "storm" which literally sucked everything around it into its flames, turning the entire city into nothing but gray ash.

Berlin and other German cities also faced similar a fate.

Also, another fact about how the "democratic" allies liberated the oppressed people of Germany from the tyranny of Adolf Hitler was when 1.9 million German POW's, mostly teenage boys and elderly men who were drafted into the Wehrmacht as a result of Germany facing shortage of military age men, were starved to death in their own ***** intentionally by their "democratic" allied captors and this was months after the war had been over.

Enjoy your trip to Germany Zakii.

Totally uncalled for rant. Did you forget what the Nazi Germany did to all those European countries? :hang2: If anything Britain was just fighting back.

I usually travel with a netbook but with another hard drive installed with all the updates and software. Just before you leave, disable automatic updates and you should be fine. For extended trips, one could carry the hard drive image in case the O/S got buggered up and use it to reimage the HDD while you're sleeping.

There will be times where you don't need to lug around a netbook, check with the hotel staff if they have safes installed in your room. What's nice about them is that it's big enough to put your netbook in.
