There is a district (Chandpur) in BD where they always follow Saudi Arab, and do everything like Roza and Eid one day ahead whether moon is sighted or not. We dislike them. They will do Eid tomorrow. But rest of the BD will do Eid in due time after moon is sighted.

Non is right, I remember 3/4 years back when federal declared eid-ul-adha after 2 days of its due time it was so halarious the whole Pakistan was thoo thoo on federal & punjab government.

KP Govt should enforce masajids to use technology it is not haram and federal should force to bring in new people to be able to use new technologies instead of halwa eating ancient molvies sitting in committee for the last 25 years with 99% wrong decisions.

Lastly either celebrate it with S.Arabia or a day after write it down not third or fourth day.

Eid a day before in Chandpur villages in BD

CHANDPUR, AUG 29: Keeping consistency with the people of Saudi Arabia, Eid-ul-Fitr is likely to be celebrated tomorrow (Tuesday) in at least 40 villages of Hajiganj, Faridganj, Matlab North, Kochua and Shahrasti upazilas of the district. Most of these villages are in Hajiganj and Faridganj upazilas. Maulana Abu Jofar Md Abdul Hye, principal of the Shadra Senior Madrasa in Shadra village of Hajiganj and eldest son of as well as successor to the renowned Pir of Shadra Pak Darber Sharif, the late Maulana Md Ishaque who died a few years ago, said the main Eid congregation would be held at 10 a.m. at the madrasa premises. His eldest son, Maulana Md Arif Chowdhury, has been selected to conduct this main jamaat.

When contacted over the phone, Maulana Abu Jofar said if the moon of Shawal month is sighted today in Saudi Arabia, Eid will be celebrated there tomorrow (Tuesday). Accordingly, announcement will be made about tomorrow’s Eid in the 40 villages.

Keeping harmony with the people of Saudi Arabia, devotees of these villages began fasting one day ahead of the rest of Bangladesh. For them, today (Monday) was 29th Ramzan. They are followers of Pir Maulana Md Ishaque, who, before his death, introduced this tenet (according to Hanafi Majhab) at the Shadra Darber Sharif in Shadra village, said Maulana Abu Jafor Md A Hye.
As the matter is sensitive, no one dares to interfere in this matter, officials in the administration said. But those who are not followers of the Pir are confused. When should they celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, they ask.

We blame others when we Muslims(Ulema) cannot even agree upon as small thing as sighting the moon and they dont even try to sit together and sort it out

I remember the year when anp ministers held press conference in the mosque saying they have seen the moon and they celebrated eid with saudi arabia

Hazrat Anas Bin Malik RA reported, beloved Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said, “When you see disagreement in my Ummah, you should follow the majority”. Ibn e Maja 3944.

Ruyat e Hilal Committee don’t take decisions solely, it has zonal offices in all the provinces including Peshawar. Those witnesses, who see the moon, should report to that zonal office instead of any particular mosque.

We should all follow Saudi Arabia. If Eid is in Saudi Arabia then Eid should be in Pakistan. Islamabad has only a 2 hour time difference from Mecca. I live in USA and Los Angelas is farther away in distance from New York than Islamabad is from Mecca, and both New York and Los Angelas are in the same country and follow each and every holiday in same day, including Eid for all Muslims here.

PEMRA should direct all the tv channels not to air mullahs from derh eent ki masjid. This tradition of masjid qasim ali khan started by grandfather of present thekaydaar. But this controversy came into notice of majority of pakistanis just bcaz of media. Just ignore them let them celebrate kallam kallay.
