What's new

Today a Qatari plane landed in Kabul airport with Turkish and Qatari members set to operate the airport in understanding with IEA

.
I can see another commercial plane parked at the runway. When he says "Americano" Is it also mal-e-ghaneemat? or Afghan/American Aeroplane?

Did this Qatari plane carry any civilians?

Missed opportunity by Pakistan

Pakistan was never after airport but other interests which has come to fruition but the remaining setup will be ethblished soon Insha-allah and construction could begin as soon as 2022

What missed opportunity? We have no role other then that there is no terrorsim from Afghanistan soil ..let's hope they uphold there.promise
Wrong answer.. We do have alot interests aside from terrorisn which is honestly irrelevant but the interests are great and that is an understatement

Please elaborate ...we shouldn't interfere in aghanistan..only interest we have is indian proxies and ttp not allowed to attack our soldiers and people in Pakistan while sitting in Afghanistan...this thing will set the future relations with Taliban ..they don't need to speak on Durand line when they have not formed government..this is there line when asked about ttp that still we haven't constitute a government ..other then that all other interest are secondary ....let them decide we shouldn't interfere ..they don't like it

We already have the infrastructure, our radars already oversee all of Afghanistan’s airspace.

We could have reopened the airport by simply busing over a team of controllers and ground services agents from Peshawar Airport.

Overflight fees are a good chunk of money.

Pakistan already working hard to establish peace in Afghanistan. But all behind the scene and it's the best strategy. Pakistan asks Turkey to accept the Taliban govt, but Erdogan said first he wants to consult with NATO and US command, then will give an answer. Qatar is already on board. Right now Pakistan has established food chain supply at its own expense. Because all funds of Afghan govt are freeze and all dealing is done in Pak rupee and we bought the food products in US dollar, it is big loss for Pak in long term. But Pakistan is taking the brunt for the sake of peace in Afghanistan.

Under Qatar Accord, US civil reps will be there to check and see if in the future is it feasible to establish relations with the Taliban govt..

Will not interfere that is not our intention.. But we need a solid relations and our interests is stragetic depth make the necessary installations in Afghanistan in case the animal on our LOC start something.. Honestly there is zero worries from Durand and all that with IEA but we face the same threat now which is these across the LOC and honestly there is no time for irrelevant Durand because both lines are still with us so there is no worry there but these praying for our doom day and night are a concern and nothing else period.. IEA and Pak face the same threat and they share equally hence the understanding is great

TTP should have added in Qatar Accord. But, at least in the future if Indians try to establish any relationship with Afghanistan, they will be under the microscope. Yes, on TTP, we fail to understand, when the APS planner was released by the Taliban without consulting Pakistan.

i completely agree - pak bled the most in the last 20 years and now when the war is over, turkey , qtr, china etc are moving in to fill the space left by US while pak is nowhere to be seen
