To North Indians

So Basically people are getting color conscious in South India as well. It is reflected in south Indian movies as well. Heroines are imported from North or Out side India.

Any ways,Racism is Big-Oh now with slight variation in constants depending on a place.

Racism can be clearly visible in Tamil movies now a days..a white cute girl from north India dancing beside black heroes like vijay,vishal ,Rajinikanth etc..however much dark their heroes may be,heroines would always be white.

This trend is the reflection of society

I have friends who would put a sailor to shame on any given day & time with their vocabulary .

maybe thats because parsies are genralli seen as a very educated and buisness minded race and there are way too little parsies in india but have immense contribeution to growth of my nation

well to be honest your the onli parsi apart from few i met on FB (which i had left some 6 months back) but as for bieng a pure vegetarian he is wrong dont we use milk and milk products even they are "animal products"

P.S : do you know that Freddie Mercury of Queen band was also a parsi born in british colony of zanzibar to a indian parsi family and had some of his education in pune

I think South Indians and North Indians both look alike, they both look like typical Indians. Same weak physical structure same short height, same pot bellies and almost same complexion.

1) It's incorrect to lump the people into North and South Indians. For example, the cultures of Maharashtra-Gujarat and Bengal-Odisha are very different than the cultures of Punjab, UP, Bihar. In the same way the culture of Tamilnadu is very different to cultures of Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra.

2) In the North, people from Punjab, UP, Bihar seem to be very aggressive and are always ready to pick a fight, either on your behalf or against you.

3) In the south, Tamils practice linguistic nationalism and would not talk to people in any other language than Tamil. You cannot survive in Tamilnadu without knowing Tamil.

I can't speak for whole south India man...I didn't move that much around..however I can definitely say the place in which I live, telangana, has many north Indians and we get along very well..I think you visited Hyderabad..you can notice no one cares who is north or south there..we in Hyderabad even have raja Singh, a north Indian as an MLA of gosha mahal constituency..you might be surprised that many urban telangana people (and nearly every Hyderabadi) can speak Hindi well.(of course dhakkani)

PS: Unlike Bangalore Hyderabad has a long history of north Indians...There are families which have been living in Hyderabad for hundreds of years.. Nizams and brought many north Indians as employees to their courts.

I know a person from Hyderabad who got offended when some called him Madarasi.

We keep hearing (or reading ) on PDF that north Indians call south Indians kaale (blacks ) and discriminate against them..I have never been to north..so, I don't know how true it is..I never heard anything like that from people here who visited north..however I read northeasterners are called chinkis by some university students and are discriminated against..my question is are there people over in north who look down upon south Indians for being black (which is not completely true )...can you make out that a person is a south Indian in the first place (except in a few cases )..We have some north Indians in our town who sell pani puri or do some menial works..I cant make out he is from other state unless he speaks in most cases.

Do north Indians think all Southerners are black?

In my Family 4 people are White and a couple are Brown and a couple are Slightly Black .
Heck !!
I don't even look like a Kashmiri !!!!
