Dear, you know in 1947, Pakistan does not have even a government office and the economy was a far thing....But we survived that era then comes the 1971....when Pakistan does not even have a printing press cz all of them were in East Pakistan....Our military was out of order, the morale of this great Nation was low....but still we rebuild from Ashes and destroyed the Soviet Union into pieces....Again in 1998 when there was a the nuclear test situation, the whole world stood against and threat us by different sanctions....There was only one hope that Pakistan produce more than enough rice and wheat, tons of them are exported and smuggled,Therefore, no Pakistani will die cz of hunger....We do 6 nuclear bomb test in responce of 5 of India and became the first nuclear country in muslim world ....we have faced worst situations before....As far as Bangladesh economy is concerned....On what Index? How long you can sustain? Economy moves freely up and down, You are geographically irrelevant to any other country unlike Pakistan which have the biggest economic activity going on as CPEC....A whole oil city going to build in Gwadar....All the Chinese exports to Africa and middle east will be going to this route....I hope you understand what i am trying to tell you.

Anyone with iota of geopolitical sense and has understanding of reality (offocouse not awami league cheer leaders) would know China is US target and US wants to challenge China in every corner of the world however insignificant it is. On that US plot, it has NOTHING to do with "Hasina forcing" US or anyone, US simply acting upon on its interest to counter China. Doing so US felt review of extradition could appease Hasina as Hasina and awami league give primacy on retribution for her father killing over Bangladesh National interest. Bangladesh has many different economic and other interests that US had not entertained over years. Hasina and Awami League regime always ignored Bangladesh interest.
Now on reality check, realistically if Hasina and Awami League fell appeased (read Trump action as Democrats would not entertain such crap) and act on US wishes, multi billion dollars ($20 billions according to previous count) Chinese investment and fundings and duty free access to Chinese market in jeopardy. Will and can Hasina and Awami League regime do such devastating harm to Bangladesh and its people??? In last 10 years Hasina by surrendering Bangladesh interest to india proved she is capable and willing to harm Bangladesh and Bangladeshis (except awami cheer leaders) should not be surprised.

This pressure is not necessarily mean that Bangladesh is going to attack usa with jet plane and bomb ( as the numpty @bluesky wrote ; I am amazed that if his IQ level is even lower than 49!) , but this force/pressure is just the same pressure that Pakistan , can create if they want .
USA wants to counter china and that's the reason they don't want Bangladesh to serve the interest of China completely.

Finally perhaps you will understand my line of thinking . About deep state my understanding is the same . Bangladesh military intelligence is not high profile or well kown in the world . And that's the reason if they manipulate something from behind then this will not be a leading news in international media . That really give them better chance to finish their work without drawing much attention.

We will believe it if Lt Col. Chowdhury really lands in Dhaka by extradition. It remains a wishful thinking till then. News article writers don't do extraditions by all means. The fact as of today is that Lt. Col. Chowdhury is a free man just as any 'American' citizen.
