To Be A Muslim In India This Eid

Riot = violent disturbance of the peace by a crowd
Massacre = indiscriminate and brutal slaughter of many people

For you it might be a riot for me it's a massacre

Putting aside differences in vocabulary, the point I am making is what happened in Gujarat wasn't "Hindus murdering Muslims". I wont say it was "Muslims murdering Hindus" either. It is a case of religious violence. It is what has plagued mankind ever since its inception. It has happened in many places and has happened in India. I wont say we should forget that, it is indeed a shameful chapter in India's history. But that or any other incident that you or any one else can bring up is not enough to deny India the shine of being called the perfect example of inter religious harmony. We have every element for fire, we have idiots and morons-in the parliament, in the media, in the society everywhere. But the sane ones outnumbers them by a vast majority. Thats why, even though there has been sparks, there was no flame.
Well let's look at the facts ehsan jaffri was modi's opponent, modi turns pale and loses it in an interview when asked about gujarat massacre, several countries banned him, modi's too scared to visit gulberg the ghost of dead bodies haunt him.

In a real democracy minority's rights must be protected no matter how singular or alienated that minority is from the majority society. America and Canada are true democracies and they never boast about it.

^ This lady moves to America.

The answer for your question lies in the picture itself. The court has given Modi a clean chit. Yes, Modi was the head of the state at that time. One may argue that it makes him ex officio responsible but certainly not personally responsible. To put it simply, he didnt call anyone and said to go kill. He was the head of a mechanism that failed to curb the situation. The real ones responsible were down below. But even for them, it was a one of kind situation, something they were not prepared or supposed to face. To put it simply, shit happens. Dont blame a guy for it.

This is Exactly what happens in India.

They did boast to me when I talked to them last week :P
You make it sound like Canada and America are individuals. As I said, the situations are different. Taking care of minorities or maintaining inter-religious harmony may no longer be an achievement for those nations. Cause they are different and India is different.
Who's throwing stones us?? We can handle constructive criticism we just can't tolerate hindu supremacists who try to malign Pakistan with propaganda while falsely potraying their country as a utopia.

Excuse me, are you calling me a hindu supremacist?

I should be apologizing to @SrNair for the late reply to the post quoted below, saw it now only bro
Btw since when is ace your friend?

Since when did you became so concerned enough to question my friends? He is my friend, brother, a fellow mallu and a co patriot. You can stop right there.

But when has that stoped anyone every country not just Pakistan/India is great at telling the rest of the world how to fix things while ignoring the problems at home, its just sadly human nature.

Very true my friend. Basically its the human nature to prove "mine is bigger than yours". When he is not capable of doing it on his own, he finds himself some alliances, in the form of religions or nationalities or something else, in order to get a change of identity and some support. Then he wont hesitate to kill his friend or neighbor. We would need some alien invasion to fix the issue.
What do you have against Poland?
Nothing personal, its mallu (short for malayalee, people of kerala, a state in India) thing. Its a classic dialogue from a movie "Sandesham". The movie portrays two brothers who go behind politics, being followers of rival parties (left and right) while forgetting their duties to their family. Its a comedy movie, and in one of the scenes, they get into an argument in the dinner table. The argument quickly escalates to international politics the a the right party brother (who had an upper hand) asks the other "What happened in Poland?" and the other one replies "Dont talk about Poland!" which is hilarious. I wish you could understand malayalam :(

Make sure you turn on the subtitles :P
Sadly seems beef is becoming India's version of Pakistan's blasphemy laws don't like some one shout looks he's got a beef patty and let the mob do the rest.

Reality is farcry from it my friend. I mean, in Kerala we have beef regularly. And so in many places. We avoid cow though.

Dont worry bro, its a mallu thing :(
The brothers in the pictures are well qualified adults and their father has just retired from the railways after serving a longtime out of state. The brothers at this age were supposed to be doing some jobs and supporting their family but instead goes around seeing themselves are politicians, still living off their dad's pension money. They are oblivious to their duties to their homes and self, but are eager to fight for what happens in other countries. The entire movie is made in the flavour of comedy. Its the best political satire in Malayalam movie industry
